I usually pair him with Occ so that he obliterate whatever needs obliterating.

So a few hours ago I successfully did DD1. I did it almost blind on darkest (except for the fact, that I read about the shuffling at the final boss here in /dadg/) and it was the most thrilling experience in the game for a long time. Prepare for wall of text since I'm still excited as fuck.

Team was Occ, HM, Crus and Hel. At first i expected that EVERY enemy might shuffle, so i changed the moveset to something useful on every position. But it wasn't necessary, so i changed it back. This proved to be costly, since i thought the boss room would reveal itself - Well it didn't. So i went in without the shuffle moveset. I GOT FUCKED horribly despite going in with ZERO stress. I just didn't get the fight and killed the priest and every goddamn protector that spawned like an idiot. A couple of turns later Death knocked mercilessly on the door of my Occ. But the bastard survived the heart attack - Retreat!

Every one's afflicted with the highest at 170, pretty low HP too. So I was wondering. Flee or trying again? Well you know the answer, so I got back and searched for another group and cheesed slowly but gently my way back to Sanity.

Second try and with my freshly gained knowledge about the fight it was quite the breeze. But man the tears during the first fight and the feeling af grasping the control back again was awesome!

You can win talismans from the gambling hall (the chance is infinitesmally slim but it can happen), and you get an extra talisman for every failed DD2 try .

So, I have the CC dlc and enabled all three content. I got some blood saved up but haven't entered the court yet or have any of my heroes cursed. As I was playing missions, I noticed that the number of blood I have was getting lower.

Does the blood decay, or I just thought that I had more than I actually do?

You probably already know this, but don't bother stunning him, just get some marking heroes like Houndmaster and Bounty Hunter and fuck him up quickly. Also, get some stun resist on the Arbalest in case Wilbur squeals on her.

Does the fanatic serve any purpose other than to ban your infected heroes from being used anywhere but the current court boss mission? I can't bring X or Y infected hero because he's either not good against the fanatic or is in a party that isn't good against the fanatic. Even with a party good for the fanatic, on bloodmoon veteran/champion it still turns into a shitfest extremely quickly. It's getting the the point where I'm just bringing whatever fucking vampires I want and just abandoning if the fanatic shows up (although obviously I don't bring more than 2)

I do not remember my first Dismas for it was way too long ago, in the hazy fog of feeling the game fresh. I made sure to read every bit of info (in-game) availible and record every curio I found. But, as far as precautions go, I sure remember my most shameful and helpless moment of overconfidence - it was among the lines of encountering new monster in a champion weald, witnessing "TREEBRANCH SMACKDOWN" crit followed by a refusal to heal. Painful lessons were learnt that day, as the giant blighted the party.

It should definitely do a way stronger bleed. The mega crab in cove inflicts 10/rd ffs. The final stage in general is just way too easy.

The final boss is intended to be easy to 'defeat', more in that subduing it is just prolonging the inevitable. The fact that you're forced to lose a couple of party members at least means the fight isn't really allowed to be difficult. And I'm inclined to agree, given all the bullshit this game throws at you.
