Dark Veritas wants his sword pimped before the assault on the crystals. Flame Veritas agrees to forge it for him. Along the way, he runs across Earth Veritas, who he fights and recruits. He gets all the materials, forges the sword and gives it to Dark Veritas. Then Dark Veritas raids Grandshelt and forces his way into the Earth Shrine (like in the beginning of the game!) where he runs into and fights Rain and Lasswell. They're actually the last bosses of the event.

There's not much to say. Dark and Flame are buddies, Flame's a blacksmith, Earth wants to fight a challenging foe, and that's really all there is to it.

As for what happens, Flame repairs Dark's sword, and Earth complains that Lapis has no meaningful warriors to challenge. It ends with the start of the game, Dark shattering the Earth crystal and dunking on Rain and Lasswell.
