Look up the collection item that you need from them. Look up what else drops it. You can increase the collection sheet from those too. For guren zombies all of them have alternate drops in Tokyo, most from the train boss. Extremely useful if you are at 100%.

Realistically? This arks station is probably going to be terrible. I have a feeling they severely underestimated how negative the reception to ep5 would be and don't have a backup plan since they wouldn't have enough time. We aren't far enough along in the story to be anywhere close to a new EQ, October is the earliest it could possibly come. Considering new EQ will probably come October/November and Halloween is October as well I wouldn't be surprised if there's actually an EQ drought until then. Yamato launched 3.5 months after ep4 did for reference.

Personally I just want to hear about the additional class changes, at least an ETA for when to expect them even if they don't tell us any of them. I'd rather know they're coming in January than not know when they're coming at all. The phrasing during arks live also heavily implied these changes were planned from the start of ep5 with the exception of Techer's so hopefully they're good.

You don't need to run the same thing twice, once with jack shit for rewards, for a free field. Free fields also go as fast you make them, while no amount of skill/speedrunning makes BQs any faster. You're going to sit there for 1 defense, 1 buster, 1 attack, 1 defense, and then 1 attack no matter what.

Balance issues are so large that you really cant handwave em away. a lot of my friends are taking a break because its no fun to play when a hero zooms past at mach 9 and kills everything before any of us can go there. The game's hardest content is simply a non issue with Hero around.

There's also 0 (zero) meaningful content right now. Just log in for the EQs so you can roll you sub 1% chance for a 14 star. Thats it. Not that it matters if you do because whats the point of gearing up hard when Hero more than makes up for any gear defficiencies?

Two main reasons are exactly what you mentioned. Not everyone enjoys Hero or enjoys solely playing hero and a good portion of the classes were sacrificed on an altar to summon it. Balance issues can kill a game and the perceived imbalance in pso2 right now is pretty high. Buster quest on the other hand has shit rewards for how boring the mode is, especially considering how free match works. It's just not fun to play and none of the rewards really motivate you to play it. I do main match twice a day for sheets because I want the SAF and that's it even though it just launched.
The current roadmap ran out before we hit any new content so there's nothing to look forward to right now either which is crippling considering the state of the game right now. We REALLY need something to look forward to.

Pretty sure that was one of the things they fixed in this maint. Also even if not, they actually just match you up with free match players, it isn't a story exclusive mpa.

My biggest issue with EP5 is it completely killed class diversity and likely will never recover from it just due to how much better hero is at everything and just how fast it is compared to everything else.

Hero does literally everything well. Even if you buff the other classes, they'll still pale in comparison to Hero because they were actually designed with downsides and drawbacks. For example, Hero is just as or slightly less mobile than a Guren-spamming Br, when shit like RA is stuck with Rodeo Drive-0 and FO/TE are stuck with Ilzonde and basically require an Orbit gunslash to move at a decent pace.

The downside of Hero is supposed to be Hero boost being a huge multiplier to lose but aside from it being trivial to keep, the other classes are in such a decrepit state that even Hero with no Hero Boost can beat a couple classes right now. Though to be honest the thing that pisses me off more is how TMG Reload is bar none the best PP regen in the game and it's attached to the class that's also one of the highest damage classes.
