i've been a wow player for a long time and legion just hasn't really been holding my interest. what is everyone doing to keep them occupied in game? from my perspective all there is to do is dungeons, weekly raids, and stuff that is weekly gated that doesn't take much time to do.

Coming from somebody who has only played a little bit of wow (free demo) can you even really get into it from a newcomer's standpoint?

At the start of the expansion it wasn't really possible, but Blizzard patched that. Sort of. The only thing that can fuck you right now is not getting the right legendaries, but even then it doesn't really matter for anything below guilds pushing realm firsts. Plus you can get lucky anyway.

Like I said that used to be true.

There is an artifact system which is your weapon and you have to level it. Before, you had to pretty much spend 24/7 leveling it to be anywhere near other's performance, right now you just have to worry about it up to a certain, easily reachable level.

There is a legendary system in which you RARELY get some very powerful items, of which you can only wear two. The first legendary should come the first few hours you're at max level. The second should come in the first week. The problem is there are great legendaries and crap legendaries and from the third one onwards it'll take months to get each one unless you play like a mad man.

Other than that, perfectly newbie-friendly. Well except the community but the community isn't anything-friendly.
