I tried Air RB in a fighter for the very first time yesterday. I just wanted to see how the RP gain was when compared to Air AB.

Holy shit both teams were full of complete retards, at this BR it's actually harder to get kills in air AB.

Had to take down the very last one in head on because I was the last fighter remaining and I had no idea how his plane compared to mine so I didn't want to dog fight him, I just wanted to win. He killed me and I killed him but secured victory in the process.

Meh, I prefer extra welded plates to sandbags, but I know it would count more like spaced armour for heat purposes.

If anything it probably helps to make HEAT detonate prematurely like spaced armor, but it was probably just detrimental by adding weight

If they did something they made the HEAT warhead even more effective since during that time concept of stand off distance was not well understood and bolting on something that would make the HEAT warhead detonate further away from the tank had potential to make it more effective if it gave it better stand off distance.

For example I-TOW doubled the penetration from TOW by just adding a stand off probe.
