I haven't play T7s in a long while and I remember tiering in events there or just getting the event card is almost impossible unless you grind like crazy. Did it become a bit easier by now?

It's ridiculously easy to tier now. I can easily get top 1000 without spending a cent.

I've never experienced that and I've been playing since late-2014. The only real hard event is Performamatch because it's extremely reliant on both luck and winning streaks. Right now you can only tier (acquire both cards) if you get a second from a gacha box which gives you 1 pull for every 100 EP up to 50000. Now what if you can't get the card on your first four pulls? You might have to aim for 50k points. Keep in mind the T2 average for this event is currently around 40k.

There's a bit of game discussion in there, but it mostly gets drowned out by the sea of shitposting. There can't be more than 50 posts related to the game in the last thread though.

I feel like it's the fate of any 24/7 general with not enough new content. It doesn't help that the game itself is pretty stale.
There might be something else that attracts shitposters who just shitpost for the sake of activity to that general, thinking about it the other generals I visit barely get new content either but they're slow and harmless most of the time.

Our shitposting constantly evolves which means that it never gets boring or stale. If you compare our shitposting to the /a/ threads, they are completely different in nature.

Well if you want to play only for the songs, T7S is really good at it (better than deresute, LLSIF and bandori imo) the gameplay is hard to compare because it only uses 2 rails instead of 5 or 7 but you have to he more precise in your tapping , 8 beat story has some really lewd cards and the rates are 1.5% for the highest rarity but the gameplay is not as different as deresute, I only have listened 2 songs but it seemed pretty average to me.

imo 8 Beat Story has some really nice songs. Especially Hatsukoi Cherry Blossom

Literally any game out there. Half of the songs in the game are just covers of existing anisongs. You might as well just download Guitar Hero on your PC and install one of anime song packs. You probably can even mod it to use some 2d image as background so you won't even notice any difference.

I once tried tiering the Performemetch without spending anything. The reward was a Mana G card. I got top 2500. You're right that it's still luck dependent though, I ended up missing Nicole's i-n-g item because the box gacha was a dick.

Counterintuitively, for easier tiering, don't tier in Vocalist. The reason is because it always wins. That means it will never get the last place bonus that gives you x1.5 attack. This is why the top whales rarely if ever pick Vocalist; the team rewards are just not worth it.
