Here's my plan: set up enough online businesses so that I'm making around 40k/year. Move down to colombia where I can live like a king for that much money. Buy portions of various local businesses.

1) Get engrossed in the work, strive to find fulfilment in what I produce and build a good reputation
2) Slack off and watch the minutes drag past, wishing and yearning not to be there, all the while drain energy through managing perceptions

In the end, option 2 takes more energy than option 1

I'm a wagecuck, but most of my income is commission, so a lot of it is up to me.

I probably only work about 3-4 hours a day over the 8 I put in daily at the office. The rest is spent reading or playing civ or shit posting. My boss works 40 mins away so all of our communication is done over the phone. He doesn't care as long as I see clients, sell out services and deliver them on time.

At least I don't have to do any cold calling or worry about generating leads.

There's something oddly cathartic about this place. I can't put my finger on it, but it's just a reminder of how we're all nothing, so we should enjoy what we have. Also, I have zero interest in acting like a rich person. My goal with any job was to find something I enjoy and will make it so I never have to worry about money again.

My kids will never know how wealthy we are, and my fiancee knows it, but has been with me since I was a teller, and money doesn't mean a ton to either of us. I don't really spend money on material things, I spend them on trips, things to enjoy with other people, experiences, which honestly, don't cost much. At least I can start crossing items off my rich person bucket list.

I work in a call center.

For ten dollars an hour I sit and stare at a screen and call people different as fast as I possibly can to ask them if they want to do surveys. If I stop for even a few minutes my supervisors yell at me despite the fact that I'm the highest productivity employee there and the person next to me blatantly sits there texting and makes $12/h while I just make $10/h.

If someone says yes I go through the survey with them on the phone. Depending on the project it either takes 5-10 minutes or 10-25 minutes. I actually prefer the longer ones because the shorter one is recorded and if I fuck up the wording on it whatsoever then I get punished. Hell, I've even gotten written up for "possibly sounding condescending" once. This is in spite of the the fact that most people you talk to deviate from the format more than a little and that forces you to deviate to bring them back, so it's subjective as to whether or not you've fucked up or whether or not you did what you should have.

Part of my job also ends up being tech support sometimes, mostly because I'm one of the only people there who understand how the systems work.

They said we're all going to be laid off by the 15th and they hired on a bunch of temps in the meantime. If they ask me to stay I'm going to ask for at least $13/h. Otherwise they can kindly go fuck themselves.

To be honest, I could actually do more. I'm just not going to unless everyone stops treating me like dogshit.

At least you wagecucks get to go home everyday. I'm in the entertainment touring buisness (aka roadie). You guys look at clocks when you get to go home, I have to look at a calendar. Its not a horrible schedule, usually 1 day of work and then one day off, mostly spent sleeping at the hotel. It was kind of fun at first but the novelty wears off quick. I miss playing vidya, I miss driving my car, I miss my friends and family at home. I miss home. At least I make good money but I dont have a fucking life to spend it on. And its nigh impossible to have a gf like this as well.
