What if the universe was different? What if it was a universe where Sonic was critically acclaimed and endlessly successful, and Sega never gave up on making consoles while Nintendo threw in the towel and started making weak Mario games for the Sega consoles?

As time goes on, not even Super Mario 64 is considered good, and people consider Mario a weak franchise from the very beginning, disregarding all the solid portable titles. It is 2017, and Mario decides it's time to make New Super Mario Bros, a game that goes back to the series' roots and it's made by the fans, for the fans, causing a revival in interest in Mario as a franchise. Meanwhile Sonic decides to really wow the crowd this time around and put away the rehashes by introducing a fresh, entirely new Sonic game known as Sonic Forces.

Both Mario and Sonic are very innovative. Both series never rest on their laurels and really try to change things up every main entry. Unfortunately, Sonic doesn't always manage to make the new innovations work. Regardless of what critics say, both Mario and Sonic are in a good place right now.

I think killing Tails or Amy would really set Sonic off.

Yoshi would be the Knuckles, though. Wario would be the ultimate lifeform since he and Shadow are both anti versions of the main hero.

I thought of the idea of a Sonic anniversary game where the game takes place in a museum built to convince the public (who have been to some degree mind controlled) that Sonic is really the bad guy. All of the zones and bosses would be exhibits built by him.

Karate Akabon drew the best Pre-reboot Sally, this shit blew my mind seeing Sally drawn like this over a decade ago compared to what was available in 2004/5.

Heck you can even have a Hubworld where you walk around the museum and you can see other various elements from each level possibly with a humorous explanation from the character you are playing as or Eggman.

You can even toy with certain aspects of each level because they are exhibits.

after Sonic Boom is over, when do you think we'll get another Sonic cartoon? The last cartoon before Sonic Boom was Sonic X back in 2003-2006. So that's over 8 years without a cartoon.

I don't have a gaming PC or a console from this generation. Since I don't have the money for a new computer, what console should I buy? I haven't kept up with video games in years so I don't know who's "winning" the console war or whatever. I was thinking of getting the Switch but I'm wary because it's less powerful than the other consoles and Nintendo has missed out on Sonic games in the past like the good version of Sonic Unleashed

PS4 is currently "winning" the console war. Switch is nice for portability, but lacks in power. As it's been stated before, the Forces demos they've shown on the Switch have significant performance issues, but the other consoles are running it fine.

Of course, you should look at what any console is offering games-wise, both now and in the future, before making any decision.

I usually use this advice.

How would you rate Titanic Monarch?

I know preformance issues are that its at 30 fps and textures look muddy, are there any other performance issues? I figured at least textures could be fixed before release but would probably stay at 30 on Switch.
I'm still getting it on Switch due to the fact that it's the only console that I have immediate access to and i'm still building my PC. Plus portability is a fun thing as of recently most of the games I play have been on handhelds. Once I finish my PC i'll probably either wait for a sale or pirate it on that platform since I would already own it on Switch.

i always hated bleedman's style, it's so gross

3/5 doesn't compare to Scrap Brain or Death Egg and feels a bit redundant with Metallic Madness
