>18mpg
Sh-shutup!

Gas prices are about the same as they were in the age of muscle cars.

8mpg masterrace

Actually fuel is far cheaper than it has any right to be.

...

Average price of gas in 1970 was 36 cents, $2.36 adjusted for inflation. Avg price for my state is $2.38 and I can find it for around $2.20 in some places.

>$2.38
Woah that's expensive.
Here in my shitcunt we pay $1/L

>$2.38 per gallon
>more expensive than $1/L
???

>Woah that's expensive.

That's like $0.63/L

fucking americans and their shitty measurement systems

3.78L to 1 US Gal.

...

8mpg has been my BEST over the last year

Peterbilts aren't cars.

>I can't do mats

It's a half ton. But it spends 10% of its time on a track resembling a road and the other 90% on tracks not resembling roads

>knowing muricans use retarded system
>still fucks up

>mats

It's true, I went down from a 3L NA V6 to a 2.4L NA I4 that makes better power. The extra 6mpg is nice and saves me $100 per month almost.

I get between 5-7 on my gf’s grand marquis

It has 4.10s.

Yeah....

>4 cylinders
>only 19 mpg
Guess my ride

Bitch I drive a carbed veeate, git gud

My 6 pot gets 30 mpg mixed. It's not a diesel either I just don't drive like shit and it has long gears. Git gud op

>tfw average about 18.3 with an NA 4 cylinder
Also checked.

NA 4 cylinder here too, wrong type of vehicle though.
Hint:
>I can afford in mine too though

Also noice

oh wow I'm retarded
Offroad*

>18.3
The fuck you doing? I have the same wagon a few years newer and get 20-22 on average.

>laughs in 15 city mpg on a good day

I do a lot of highway driving with short ass gears so it's screaming along at 3600 RPM in 5th most of the time. That and my IAC is going out but I don't really feel like spending $350 on a new one just yet. It got better after I replaced the front o2 sensor but not by much. Maybe I've got a leaking injector or something.

>5th
I do a lot of highway driving as well, with four shittily spaced gears. Can't remember what it's turning but it's at redline in 3rd at about 100. Guessing near 3k at 70 in 4th.
I do wish it was a manual though since the auto boxes on these are near retarded.

i drive a v8 when petty is 1.40 a liter cunt i dont give a fuck

>Equals $4.00 USD a gallon essentially
>Meanwhile gas here is $2.50 a gallon
>Essentially 0.84 (presumbly AUS) dollars per Liter

Ya'll getting ripped off laddo

Behold, the powerful beast that is the 4 cylinder reliant 850 engine
>Pushrods
>Non crossflow
>40hp
>40ftlbs of torque
>Doesn't rev much past 5000 despite being so tiny
>70 mpg though

V12 master race.

> 5.4L overbored to 5.8L
> SOHC
> 4800# land barge

Still getting 20ish mpg freeway.

I’m getting about 30 mpg on the highway with my 3.0L I6 so I’m fine

A friend of mine drives a lexus rc-f 2016. 5.0 v8 and he says he got the best mpg ever. With city and autobahn (60/40) he gets 8l/100km when he drives normally.

8-15L/100km, would be a lot better if I had 6th gear. 2.4 V6, the awd adds 1,5-2L/100km

no shit

most of it is fucking tax

>3.Slow automatic Ranger
>11mpg city during winter

haha but my car only has 5 gears and reverse

Ev cucks btfo

Volvo 240?

This holy FUCK what did I do to deserve this fuel economy. I don’t even think the 3.0 is that bad with a standard but the fuel economy is almost the same as the 4.0
