I actually congratulate the guy for being such a small operation that's made such a global impact. It's pretty impressive. Especially considering much of his exposure has come from the Internet and not conventional media outlets.
As for the looks of the cars...I never really got it. I mean they're essentially exaggerated 993 GT2s. Much like many things nowadays, people who don't know their history are blown away by the latest hot gig in town. It's not Nakai's fault, but he has benefitted from it. The Beatles didn't create rock and roll either. They benefitted in much the same way. What they both represent is 'rebellion' in whatever form it takes at the particular moment. Ya know, hair bands because short hair is conformist...and Apple Jacks because the don't taste like apple.
That's the long way of saying..."don't hate the player; hate the game!"
If you're in any way bothered by the widespread coverage of RWB for merits you don't fully understand...just be grateful he doesn't have a British accent! Much like Magnus Walker, Gordon Ramsay and Simon Cowell...he could be A LOT more famous for doing a lot LESS!
Although, he would be cracking that Union Jack whip and indulging America's kinky, insatiable, colonialist fetish
I can't believe people pay him to hack apart their cars. I understand modifying a car but he's taking a sawzall and cutting them up, booger welding them together and sell them at an insane price

>people who don't know their history are blown away by the latest hot gig in town If anything I think it's the contrary.
The people (at least the first ones early on) wanted it BECAUSE they wanted that GT2 and other Porsche race car style. Not because they didn't know about it and just went 'Wow WIIIIDE BRAH'.
Anyways have one of his older works. 911 that was also SR swapped by the owner. It makes the purest in me REEEE but it's too neat to hate.
Cultural. And it's more than just 'MUH V8' though that's part of it.
Back when hot rodding was taking off post war, the Small Block Chevy trounced the competition, it was also easier to put in old fords than the new OHV Ford V-8s. As such it became the go to swap for 30s fords and even newer cars as well due to how easy it was to upgrade. I mean there were still some madmen who'd put early hemi's in old shit, but the Small Block was the go to.
The Tradition continued into the 90s with that incarnation of the LT-1 and then into the 2000s with the LS. It also helps that GM has embraced this and well sell you the motor and all it's electronics for a few grand brand new. The other big three do that as well too with their main V-8s.

i'm asian you absolute faggot
Austin Gutierrez
>faggot >i cant come up with counter agruement so ill just call him faggot thats pretty mean
Hudson Cruz
>it's not spectacular
It's literally the god engine. The only reason a vehicle wouldn't have it is because it was designed or modified by communist cucks
Jose Clark
Oh so you're one of those annoying chiggers who thinks adopting black culture pseudo-ironically will make you more desirable
>violates speed limit in your country sshhhh nothing personel kid

You might want to work on your reading comprehension.
I didn't say RWB is better than either of those. I said Ruf or Singer isn't comparable to RWB because they aren't even marketed to the same people. it literally costs around $30k for the RWB kit. and Singer/Ruf's are in the $200ks+ price range. Please kill yourself btw.
Wow, telling me to kill myself...super edgy man, did you just head down to the local skate shop and by a pair of DCs plus grab a Monster out of the mini fridge. Damn dude...better watch my steps.
RWB's aren't anything new or special, just all hype. Super wide-body kits have been around for nearly 40 years. Bolt on some 934 flairs, a GT2 wing, a 965 bumper, paint it booger green and you have a RWB.

Guy's a bad-ass, but it irritates me irrationally that he just eyeballs everything and starts hacking away based on where he thinks he should be cutting. To be fair he started before old 911s were precious, they were just cars.

>realizing that your reading comprehension actually sucks so you hang on to the "kill yourself part."
like i said mcfuckingkillyourself my man.

>not Ama-san
The only man who can make doritos be reliable and good for racing.
Here, have another (you) for your ego. You better get back to playing Forza and sipping on that Monster boyo.

>RWB Personally I prefer Panoz. What such a small team is able to do with their projects is really amazing and nothing is quite like their cars. The front bumper kinda swoops in so that I think the view from the cockpit gives a better reference for where the front wheels are.
Nobody stated that. Nakai strictly does bodywork. Regardless of what you or I think of it, he still gets business. That being said he and some of his customers/friends in Japan bring their RWB Porsche to the Idlers meet/race @ Tsukuba Circuit every year. desu I think you're a bit butt hurt and you are not shitposting in retaliation. No worries mate. I take no offense here.
You might want to clean up your room and sort yourself out before criticizing anyone else though.
Shit I thought you made a typo and meant to say Nakai. Anyway this video is fucking classic. He did the same shit in New Zealand in that same documentary
