So, to make a case for either car, I just googled stock AE86 vs Stock FR-S (and again as GT86) and found out no retarded car channel has actually compared track times with these two vehicles.

Someone should try this. Now.

Something older, RWD, light, and with large wood steering wheel and a good drving position.

I'm going to say Alfa Romeo 2000 because I own one, and trying to kill myself on mountain roads is the main reason why I bought it.

I have just the thing for you, mate

There’s a video from some nip show where an old retired racer has a try at a downhill course in his old AE86 and the new GT86

You want AWD to put down alot of power, but you do want the AWD to be rear-wheel biased.
Oldier for lighter weight, late 80's early 90's most likely optimal, although you're probably dead if you crash.
Powerful high-revving turbo engine.
Pic related is probably the ultimate.

Depends on the amount of straights.

Miat

>overweight understeering pig
yeah no.
>audi
why ask question if you know the answer

New 86 is faster, old 86 is lighter (miata level weight but with an even weaker engine)
I'd wager that unless there are virtually no straights the gt86 would win
