Amber turn signals nostalgia

These are going to be the next huge automotive nostalgia, mark my words.

People and manufacturers were eager to change everything orange to clear even with aftermarket parts in the 00s but these "carrots" were really nice looking pieces of cars.

Possibly. But why make a thread about it? Nobody can make a profit off it.

I was thinking today how silly it looks to see cars from 80s to 00s where the orange parts have been switched to clear ones. The past should be embraced and cars be returned to period correct look after decades of service and modifications.

They were used far too recently to make a comeback now

I generally prefer clear ones for looks, but amber ones are so much more functional

I don't like Euro cars, but that one looks incredible.

i always preferred amber indicators. Clears are gypsy tier

is this a fetish that only europeans have?

And who could forget the runny eggs.

Most likely because the colorless blinkers were a big thing really early on in Europoor while it's apparently still mandatory to have at least a part of it amber so Burgers just shrug and wonder what's the faggotry all about

*mandatory in Burgerland

These were incredibly controversial in 996 and 986.

Hi there!

You seem to have made a bit of a mistake in your post. Luckily, the users of Veeky Forums are always willing to help you clear this problem right up! You appear to have used a tripcode when posting, but your identity has nothing at all to do with the conversation! Whoops! You should always remember to stop using your tripcode when the thread it was used for is gone, unless another one is started! Posting with a tripcode when it isn't necessary is poor form. You should always try to post anonymously, unless your identity is absolutely vital to the post that you're making!

Now, there's no need to thank me - I'm just doing my bit to help you get used to the anonymous image-board culture!

They are too much.

Well maybe not too much but often they don't look so good, kinda weird as big orange blocks should be nice. It may just be that I've seen so much EU style half amber indicators.

My headlight set came with clear corners and into the trash they went.
