they added a few QOL things in Welcome Amiibo but honestly there's a few things I had jotted down such as....

- bug-off point values not being random every time you save and reload, but set by size/rarity/luster

- bells and fruit automatically stack on pickup

- hourly music can now be changed to previous games' versions like Rune Factory does

- permanent PWPs can now be relocated at the original cost, but will have their state and contents defaulted (this might cause continuity/progression issues)

- fix the fucking Majora's Mask lighting glitch

- you now once again have a separate option to request a task from villagers. They will not ask for a Pokemon Pikachu this time.

- pattern slots per character expanded to 20

- fertilizer will now restore dirt to grass within a 2 step radius after one day

- kirby/pokemon/DK fortune items

sadly Nintendo doesn't really patch their games, that they even updated NL is a miracle

- fix not being able to swap flying insects and sea creatures if inventory is full (game currently just says "oh i have no room" and lets it go)

- kill everyone at Nintendo responsible for not putting NES games in New Leaf, add them back but as one single NES item loaded with all of them

- increase PWP limit and allow their buffer zones to collide

- allow relocation of rocks for a fee, not destruction though, and they can't be within 10 steps of eachother

- somehow pull some wizard shit and make the 3DS take screenshots in png you fucking retard cavemen nips

It's so infuriating not being able to relocate permanent PWPs. You gotta have a brilliant strategy on where to put them and if not, you're just fucked.
I'd go bananas for some fucking pokemon stuff in the game. Nintendogs ornaments are cute but why not Pokemon ornaments? I want to put a wooper in my room, damnit.
I really wish there was an option to just pause the game to take a screenshot or at least have a timer warning.
I think a cool thing would be if tools you carried acted as their own pockets. Say you catch something in your net, well, the net itself will have a bunch of bugs in it and when you go to sell them, there'd be a menu that shows what's inside so you can sell it. That way you'd only have the tool itself for carrying bugs or whatever.
Then again, that would just lead to extra clicking and nobody likes to click more.
I feel you on the rocks thing too but I'll go further-I want to buy rocks to put wherever I want them.
The fun thing about HHD is you can design a yard as well as the houses. Having that as a feature for ACNL would be great. You could have a pool party at your house for all your villagers.
But they'll probably only ever patch it again if they can find another way to profit off it.
