by making all of his skills skillshots with extremely long castpoints, and balancing his increasing strength as he progresses through his quest with decreasing combo ability as structures are destroyed

By just applying CC and bursting him down.

He gets a globe quest that will take several minutes (more or less depending on the map) to complete at level 4. You'll see it used once maybe twice in a game.

In their defense, blizzard does this every single time with a new character as well though.
They always make their new FOTM OP as fuck and then nerf him later.

Glacial Spike is literally the reason why Q build is inferior. It's genuinely too good not to take no matter what build you are going, but since you're taking it you may as well just go full combo build.

Getting slightly more damage on your Q doesn't stand up to being able to set up your own plays and guaranteeing your combo.

I feel like they either should have made the Spike a baseline ability, a quest reward (45 stacks of Blight), or just removed it completely because of how good it is.

Blizzard really fucked up with Garrosh's representation in Heroes of the Storm. His abilities and role do not fit his character fantasy in any way. His kit should have been for another character.

Yes, he is fun to play. But he should have been a bruiser, like Artanis, but with burst and less focus on defense and with an ability to force 1v1.
