About to play 1999 with no vending machines for trophy, any tips anons?

got to comstock's airship but then bought a med pack and had to restart, this game is hard
So you're not using any vending machines machines at all, even to upgrade weapons or vigors?
nah i can use upgrades but if i buy something from dollar bill its screwed, i'm cheesing it with a sniper rifle and carbine + possesion so I'm not struggling as much as i should be
Yeah, sniper/carbine combo is the way to go at higher difficulties. Is possession the best vigor to use in 1999 mode, from your experience so far?
