I actually tried this once to drive traffic to a website--it didn't work. I put two pictures of a cute girl and added waves and waves of random people--literally anyone I saw on the page. Eventually I would get added by random people (99% of them were guys obviously). I would check the account every couple of months and would come back to 99+ friend adds and a shit ton of messages from dudes. Shit like "hey cutie how's it going ;)". Even though I never responded, they would keep messaging on and off for months.
Logged on recently and found out I got banned. Didn't make any money but was an interesting experiment. It might have worked if I put more effort into it, a level of effort I didn't care to put in. The profile was also the fakest shit you'll ever see but that didn't really stop people.
Overall a huge waste of time but interesting. Thought I would feel bad but just made me more pessimistic towards people--It showed me just how exploitable the average person really is. Also gained some insight on what it's really like to be a pretty chick and the weird ass shit they deal with.

I had an old FB account with friends in the single digits. For some reason, I had many pending requests from slut profiles. The worst part is most of their added friends were thirsty losers so when I got an invite I felt really bad about myself that I got targeted as well.
