Thats a nice VN commodore

>tfw GM didn't give the last omega a V8
I would absolutely buy it. They actually developed it but cut it just before production. Opel never lucky

Wasn't some holden basically an omega with v8?
I've read somewhere about two cars sharing the platform but it's hard to tell for sure cause aussies don't know omegas and yuros don't know holdens....

uhhummmmmm, Excuse you
I think you mean vauXHALL

Imagine what they can make if GM lets them run free
>Opel makes awesome hardcore car
>GM brings it over and brands it the Buick Grand National and gives it black paintjob
Why doesn't GM see the genius in this idea?
They already rebrand Opels as Buicks

uh mate, i think you're a bit behind the news

the french now own Opel (before GM sucked off all the patents)

>GM letting anyone run free
Opel was the only GM division that didn't bleed cash like a stabbed jew.
GM couldn't afford to take risks with Opel.

Holden Commodores were basically re-engineered Opels except for the last few generations, but they changed a fair bit on the platform. The Holdens are wider iirc.

This one looks just like omega B. Wikipedo says they're closely related.

Stfu bong
On paper opel was losing a shit ton of money but at the same time many engines and powertrains and sometimes entire cars were sold under other GM brands like holden, buck, chevrolet, vauxhall, saturn making opel a very valuable company.
Looks worse than the omega but muhh vee ayte

Interesting actually, who is going to develop small to mid size cars for GM? With Opel gone vauxhall is dead unless it's under opel. Buick is gone aswell, I doubt their sales justify developing new cars. Same with small chevrolet cars.

Daewoo, probably using the stuff Opel left behind as a base.

The other way round.

I've read somewhere that they actually tried to make v8 omega. They eventually failed and gave up. Of course instead of copying australians they try tobdo this fron scratch and had some problems with overheating.
