Should I play RD? I heard that the plot is very bad and I don't want to be left with a bad taste after PoR, I'm worried it might ruin some characters other things from that game I liked. I heard that the gameplay is very good though and that the new characters are amazing, I see people praising Micaiah and hoarding orbs for her in pretty much every thread.

RD is great. There is only one real problem with the plot, and it can be overlooked with a bit of suspension of disbelief. You'll recognize it when you come to it.

Yes it's pretty good. The gameplay and difficulty is better than PoR's but on the flipside the story is pretty dumb and lot of characters are pretty lame and not fleshed out due to no supports.
