That is how it always is, when we get the next iLevel + tomestone gear patch, the stuff we have thats non-convertable will become convertable and GC turn-in capable. Current content patch tome stuff never is convertable.

How do you get swimsuits

Theres some crafted swimwear you can buy on marketboard or have crafted by other players. Shisui armor from the level 63 stormblood dungeon is basically swimwear as well. Otherwise, the seaonal event bikinis/swimwear is from summer event only so you'll have to buy old ones you missed on Mog Station if you want them.

cash shop for most of them, there's like 3 that can be bought off the marketboard
