For Calus, what's better DPS: Coldheart or Merciless? I had a full team running Coldheart and it took 3 phases to clear, which seems too long considering we had 70/50/70 skulls. But I worry that Merciless doesn't have enough ammo and has bigger damage drop off.

Because it's faster/reliable to lose with sub 1.0 kids. There's no pressure. If you want to win go ahead. But it's not about farming engrams at that point.

Do you need to kill the 4 psions that spawn first during Calus? We just beat that area without killing them, but I've seen people kill them immediately before going into the rift. What's the deal?

Apparently, for every 2 Psions you kill, a Centurion spawns, so killing them before teleporting makes the fight harder for the people inside, but you get lots of Heavy.

Servitor Public Event next to Failsafe

There's an adventure near to failsafe. You can summon a cloaked fallen with that and kill it. Cancel the adventure, restart it and repeat until it's done.

Over in 5 minutes.

Go to Exodus Black, go to the Lost Sector pretty much directly from spawn, kill the boss, fast travel back to Exodus Black to reset, repeat. Or just do fucking public events.

There is a cave right next to the entrance to failsafe where a powerful fallen always spawns, you can run in kill him, get the unlocked chest, then fast travel right back out and it resets.

You should be able to find a YouTube vid showing the route, I finished the 10 pretty quick this way
