>picking as OP for the NA thread a servant we will not have in years
Angel Rogers
You fucked up user. See Read your posts next time. I'm thankfull for Mommy in the OP but please check what you're posting.
Tyler Russell
don't cackle
Jordan Ross
Stop posting unrelated pics, we just burned a thread out of pics anons
Owen Murphy
Okita is cute! I want to marry her!
Ryan Sullivan
Ok.
Jonathan Thompson
>OP STILL not updated
Grayson Ortiz
That happened because retards were replying to get posts.
Ian Davis
So I was thinking how most Gatcha games have started implementing a pity system where they give out a confirm SSR summon after getting enough trash. How would you feel if Fate were to follow suit.
Maximum image limit or not I think the bigger issue is the old thread has like 100 posts to go
Brayden Smith
Low luck shitters should be purged, they don't deserve anything.
Wyatt Mitchell
>it's been nearly 3 days of the OP not being updated You're all fucking premature ejaculators I swear
Adrian Anderson
I personally I think they should, but with how small our SSR pool and with how story based the game is it will take a while for them to implement a pity system.
Owen Cook
Fuck off with your shit.
James Thomas
>Telling people not to post images on an image board Here's your (You).
Ryder Bailey
That would be good civilization~~
Matthew Thomas
Nothing is happening in the game, so why bother?
Dominic Richardson
I don't mind getting trash, but we can't even have trash because everything they ever add is SSR and SR
Thanks gods there is still a few amount of 3* each update, but I would be more happy with more 1-2 new servants, than with a single free SSR
Xavier Wood
Short answer: Yes. They should. Investment should have returns.
Long answer: FGO has just gone through two anniversaries with the SSR Servant rate still fixed at 1% while another game I know of the same age (iDOLM@STER CGSS. Yes. I know. But still) has updated from 1.5% SSR to 3% plus several select-an-SSR promos so far. What do you think is the developers' attitude on this? I would sooner be the Queen of England. Also, FGO took a step backwards from the New Year's guaranteed "pick a class" SSR gacha to the "get one random SSR out of 51 and hope it's not Nightless Castle Caster" gacha this anniversary. I understand your feelings on the matter as I was about 99% sure we would've gotten a select-SSR promo for our second anniversary, but I disappointed myself for no good reason. I still love FGO and will continue to support this game, but for your own sake, have very, very low expectations.
Camden Clark
I FUCKING LOVE NOBU!
Ayden Long
I agree, if they make the guaranteed gachas better, where you could actually pick what you wanted, and possibly had them more frequently... there would be no need for a pity system.
They could also abuse that in order to engineer large spikes in income when they need it.
That said, the guaranteed pulls directly conflict with the concept of limited gachas so who knows.
I just know I would personally rather spend more regularly, during certain events, then having to consider if it's actually worth bothering to spend other times of the year. If I know i'll get something out of it, great, here's my money. Less than 1% chance to get anything meaningful? Nah, not going to bother.
Michael Scott
I only hope that I can roll both summer and normal version of this two. And Martha summer who I am gonna post next post
John Ross
Don't reply to MY post again nigger
Joseph Jones
Why?
Jayden Sanchez
>iDOLM@STER CGSS. Yes. I know. But still What's wrong with it?
Connor Long
Why do I love her you mean?
Carson Perry
YES.
Kind of a dumb question honestly, it's like saying "Do you want a hug or a punch to the face?". Only masochists would pick the bad option.
Lucas Gomez
Yeah.
Elijah Nguyen
The 1 in 51 wasn't that bad. It included every limited servant so far.
Matthew Miller
And also Jeanne Alter. Idol stuff, some people absolutely hate it, they make sure to tell us by making gangrape fat old man stuff.
Landon Evans
If I want to keep an alt, can I just generate a bind code for my main, flip over to the other account with its bind code, and return to my main account with its code without having to touch my caches or anything? Friend of mine just gave me his account.
Andrew Gray
See, the fact that there is no pity summon or other alternatives suggested by people on this thread is indicative of the fact that DW/Aniplex/whoever else is on-board the FGO production train is in it to make money, and not "supporting the fandom" or other arguments of similar vein that are presented oh-so-often by white knights of FGO.
I hate to be "that guy" who necros, but couple of weeks ago, when there were mountain of complaints regarding drought of contents in NA FGO, a topic of intentionally delaying contents/QoL changes in favour of milking cash came up. Defenders of the said topic insisted that companies responsible were more about "presenting experiences like JP counterpart" and the purpose of FGO was not in making profits.
1% chance of summoning SSR servant, 3% SR servant, 4% chance of summoning SSR CE and 12% SR CE. I haven't played many gacha games, but I can confidently say that these rates are significantly worse than the games I did play. And to add salt to injury, all of these games are significantly older than FGO, meaning that these games were essentially the trend-setter in the gacha industry, which consolidates the point regarding DW & others involved's greed by introducing model that is decisively worse for the playerbase. These guys know how hardcore Fate fans are and are fully taking advantage of it.
Phew, sorry guys, had to vent. With all that salt and yorokobe out of the way, back on topic: I would be, like everyone who plays the game, ecstatic at the change. But I know that the chance of that happening is about as good as not pulling Black Keys in NA gacha, so definitely not holding my breath.
Jaxon Cook
cute!
Grayson Mitchell
just play the alt account on memu; you WILL fuck up eventually swapping accounts
William Brown
Why are you posting reddit comments?
David Bailey
Even something as simple as FEH's slight % increase after every summon until a success where it resets would be nice. Per banner of course... because management says so.
Honestly though, I'd rather you be able to choose your servant from the guaranteed gacha rather than a pity system. Sure, a 5 star once or twice a year is nice, but it would be even nicer if you could pick it since it's meant to be a gift for special occasions, and it would prevent frustration over "wasting" your one valuable roll on something you didn't want or need.
Xavier Gutierrez
Each time you swap accounts you need to redo your bind codes.
Jayden Lee
jack every thread until she can be adopted >100 posts from bump limit wtf are you doing reddit kun
Jackson Kelly
Fuck, I don't want to do that since setting it up was a massive pain the first time around, but I guess that's the more prudent choice. Thanks user.
Yeah, I realize that, but I wanted to know if it was even possible in the first place.
Jeremiah Cruz
y...you too.
Hunter Gray
Sooner or later you'll fuck it up user. Either use a second device or don't do it at all unless you're prepared to lose one of the accounts or both.
Dylan Peterson
>still no scans >sadface.jpg

>The 1 in 51 wasn't that bad. Yeah it was fucking bad, especially compared to the previous one that let you at least pick which class you wanted, so you could avoid a class that you already had a bunch of servants from to increase your odds of getting one you didn't already have. If they're going to have a system like 50 or 60 servants and give you one at random, they should at least let you choose four or five of those servants to remove from the possible summoning pool so you don't have to worry about summoning them up.
Cooper Gomez
Why do they put the (s) there if you can never get 1 FP?
Sebastian Powell
Having more chances to get SSR's is always a good thing for players even more so if your down on your luck. Will DW implement it though? I highly doubt it. But I've been surprised before maybe I will be again
Luke Lopez
you'll learn one day
Andrew Powell
just use a fucking cloud to store your codes i use googledocs, copy pasta makes it really fast, screen shot too if youre paranoid
Julian Gomez
Small team.
Please understand.
Jordan Carter
Well she's bold and fiesty, she had a very awesome way of not giving people just because they were nobility or something, she treated people pretty well, almost unified Japan. Has to put it simply just an awesome personality. Of course she is cute and sexy too. She did a lot of brutal things however, but most Servants have. She makes me smile. Um, is that enough? I'm kind of playing vidya and getting my ass kicked, so I apologize if this is somewhat of a half assed explanation. I'm not very good at explaining stuff like this either. I'm definitely going to try my best though to better myself for her though. It will take a long time, but she's really making me not want to be a quitter anymore. I'm not a very good person, and I fuck up a lot, but I would love it if I could be someone that she would smile about someday.
Plus she has a cool skeleton yokai.
Cameron Thompson
I want this brown bunny.
Carter Kelly
>Garunteed a 4* or above servant after 100 rolls of not getting one >everyone thinks this is a good thing >suddenly the rate at which Seigfried gets handed out nearly quadruples >after getting spooked you don't get shit until your next Seiggy >only way to reliably get 5*s becomes the paid gacha No thanks, safety nets are for babies
Xavier Green
Ah, the thing is, it's as possible to have 458 rolls without SSR as it is to get an SSR in a single roll. Zannen systems are there to prevent situations like this.
There was a girl that reported having 500 rolls without SSR. That's entierly possible in this game. In fact, it's as possible as to roll out an SSR that's on rate-up. And, once again, a proper zannen system should prevent this.
Juan Davis
Stop making me like Medb.
Henry Jones
I rolled in the most recent paid gacha.
Even brown tits useless caster would have been welcome because I like her a lot sexually. I got fucking Vlad
Juan Reed
I don't have any five stars. I feel your pain, user. ¬_¬
Ryan Phillips
Honestly the thing that pisses me off the most is (as much as I like riyo) that the fact that the manga makes "haha gacha rates sure are bad right? xd" means DW would rather just make le epic jokes than actually fix their shit. Unless I'm remembering wrong and the manga wasnt actually official
Nolan Lee
Don't gamble with money you aren't willing to lose.
Aaron Watson
Cygames have been very generous lately with Granblue and Starlight stage and the games still make a shit ton of money. I think it's dumb to assume that the lower the rates are the more money it makes, and being more generous makes the fans happy, it's a win-win situation.
William Cook
I LOVE FUCKING NOBU
Aiden Foster
Eh, I am playing one other game with 0.5% chance for the top rarity pull. Yes, zero-point-five percent. And it is pretty popular despite that.
Of course they are regularly holding "buy your waifu directly" promotions, so gacha is not terribly important for dolphins anyway XD And yes, they evidently are turning up a good profit that way, as game continues to evolve and expand.
Molar of the post? Moar guaranteed paid pulls are good civilization, I guess
Will I make it without spending if I only roll for 1 copy of 2030 and then roll for Jeanne Alter?
Charles Collins
The last gacha game I played for any extended period of time had like a 0.01-0.05% chance for the top rarity pull (Soccer Spirit). I also played a number of Japanese ones that had around a 1% draw rate. Not sure which games you played exactly, but 1% pull isn't exactly all that rare for JP games (Age of ishtaria, Love live, Terra battle, etc.).
Of course, you could argue how some of those may have certain system that makes it seem more generous. On the other hand, FGO is entirely non-competitive so there isn't as much of a need for a free/low paying player to constantly draw.
Now, it's obvious that FGO is there to make profit... there is really no need to argue that. That said, you can't exactly blame NA for every little thing that they failed to port over immediately. They did start right off the bat with the cheaper draw rate and a lot of QoL improvements already in (master mission, lower difficulty, etc.).
Jason Barnes
The issue is that you can very well spend over 300 quartz not get the 2030. I spended 250 trying to get a Black Grail, never got one.
Jayden Rivera
I'm sorry to hear that user.
Carson Ward
Almost there
Nolan Rivera
...
Carter Allen
I think so, the current "pity system" only benefits whales, really... It'd be nice if it took a cue from Granblue/SiNO's spark/desire medal system where even as a f2p you could still feasibly save enough and even if you don't roll, you can pick that character if they're in the featured banner.
Honestly though, if GBF's something to go by, that'd be getting people to spend more - there's at least a light at the end of the tunnel that way
Christian Long
With 2030, every time you make a roll or spend a ticket you have a 3% chance of getting a 5* CE, and then a 60% chance of getting 2030. The odds are that if you spend 300 quartz you will probably get a copy of 2030. But there is still a substantial chance that you won't get one. You'll need to spend about 600 quartz to have around a 90% chance of getting it.
Getting Jeanne Alter is much harder than getting a 5* CE (as there is only a 1% chance to summon a 5* servant vs the 3% chance to summon a 5* CE). If you're an F2P player I'd recommend just saving for Jeanne.
Christian Lopez
I need two of every material there. Starting to lose my mind farming Gaul out.
Juan Flores
Yeah or that, I mean it depends on how much you set up as a limit. Right now till april we will get around 400 free quartz, but not more than that (including tickets) So do you want over 600 quartz for Jannu Alter, or 300/400?
Joshua Thomas
10 minutes
Logan Campbell
Delicious brown girl with toned body wearing nothing but jewelry is hot as fuck.
Mason Price
As a NA player the bigger concern for me is the lack of content.
This game is SERIOUSLY lacking. One can only grind the same dailies with zero sense of progression before getting bored and quitting.
There are people on my friends list with 2-3 five star servants who just stop logging in. My guess? They got bored.
FGO may be huge in JPN but in the US they are getting their asses handed to them. As a Dokkan Battle player I see Bamco adjusting the game to their global audience. FGO needs to learn fast before the rest of the US audience wanders away in boredom with only the die hards left.
Xavier Perry
Please understand.
Charles Fisher
Thank you to the user telling me to start logging in last thread. I finally decided to login and start collecting quartz again as a small step to feeling better. Saving quartz and tickets should be a big priority to me, and I shouldn't have let myself stop for so long like I did. So, again. Thanks if you're still here.
Oliver Harris
>sadpanda Fuck, I have to download the shit. But thanks!
I just wish there was a reason she was a chick. She started off as a gag character so I don't blame them for not having a reason, but I'm getting tired of gender swaps with no explanation. The explanation of why Saber was gender swapped was a core element of her character and arc, and Nero and Drake at least got SOME reasoning. Even ATILLA got a sentence or two of lip service about it. The GO servants don't even fucking bother and it pisses me off.
Jonathan Long
Why you were feeling bad user? Couldn't be worse that my rolls last week.
Still happy you're getting better.
Connor Reed
Just replace the x in the link with - to get the e-hentai version without having to login.
I can't wait to see what the new Liz will be for this upcoming Halloween!
Lucas Allen
Yes though I don't know how they should implement it in a way that most if not everyone would be happy with.
Maybe after a set amount of rolls, you're given a special summoning ticket that's guaranteed to give you a 5* servant or just something 5* even if it's a CE? That way people could hang onto them and use it later to have a better chance of getting the 5* they want.
Luke Flores
Type-moon doesn't really give a shit about their 'global audience.' The audience they care about is playing the shit out of it, and those in the English speaking world should just be glad we're getting something brought over for once.
Don't have any not in the game or Arturia, but that's life.
Hunter Murphy
>using g or e hentai
Dylan Lee
They should make it so if you ever get multiple 5* servants and yours is already NP5 you get some kind of currency to redeem for a servant of your choice
Realistically though, there is no other way they'd bother implementing any kind of pity mechanic. Discussing it is a waste of time
Jayden Sanchez
So what's the place all the hip young kids go to look at porn these days?
Gavin Williams
I don't, but since this isn't /a/, I don't care about people being too lazy to get past the panda.
Cooper Butler
I would like to see them adapt FGO for the American audience as well, but I understand their hesitation/why their bosses in Japan won't let them. The game is a juggernaut there even by gatcha standards, and they're not willing to do anything that might piss those fans off. I'm sure I don't need to tell anyone in this thread how touchy Japanese NEET anime whales are, and Fate is one of the most internationally oriented franchises in anime right now which means their Japanese fans expect an even greater degree of deference so there is no perception that the creators are "favoring," the west.
Its fucking stupid and Type Moon should not give a fuck, but they do, and there's only so much we can do about it.
