If I target Nuit with Dragon's Rebirth wouldn't the timing let me get two dragons out? Either way it's a very flexible combo

Yes, but if you tribute nuit with altar for tribute its effect doesn't activate.

That's fine, I doubt I have room for Altar. I mostly need these as an engine.

You can also use the dragon you get from nuit in other ways, for example if you bring out wattaildragon from your deck, you can then use A wingbeat of a giant dragon to return it to your hand and clear the field of any spells/traps then resummon it by tributing nuit if you want.

Doing twice the same thing is too obvious. More variety in cards means more thing you can do.

It doesn't matter because if your combos are diverse enough, you'll always be able to do something whereas having twice the same card in hand will make you lose.

Also don't use spells and traps. If you do, Konami stacks them on the top of your deck. Just run 26 different monster cards.

This game and its community pretty much proves that meta decks will be hated no matter what.
In TCG people love Red-eyes and feel bad for Ice Barriers and Toons, yet here they are so powerful that they are rage-inducing, or the brainlet's way out. Ironic, isn't it?
