You're only afraid of spiders because you grew up learning to be afraid of them. It's irrational behaviour. They're tiny harmless creatures. Growing up everyone around you was afraid of them so naturally you developed an irrational fear of them too. It makes no sense. It's actually infuriating that people could do such a thing to you. Whatever about heights and other phobias, the spiders here pose zero harm to you. 9/10 of them just sit in a corner of the room or scuttle along the skirting board. Once you realise there's nothing to fear and it's all brainwashing and learnt behaviour you're on the path of overcoming that fake fear. Start of by getting closer to them. Taking pictures. Then move on to catching them using something like a lid and a magazine. It will take time but be patient. If you leave them most of the time they will disappear for good and not show up again more than once or twice. Squashing them is disgusting. Why would you do that? It's even grosser than letting them live.

I really appreciate them still releasing updates long after it's basically fucking dead. but the problems are more fundamental than a quick patch can fix.

>disorientation 6dof camera is very disorienting. just spin around the planet once and everything will be upside down. you can enable a "pole locked" mode but it makes it really difficult to play if your/the enemy base is on a pole. zooming out to the system level will give you a completely random orientation based on where on the planet you are and where in the orbit it is.
>lack of information they tout "strategic zoom" but if you zoom all the way out you can't see anything. just bare planets with no indication of where bases, units or anything is. on the planets themselves you can only see one half of a planet at a time. all together it makes it very difficult to figure out what the fuck is going on. the unit icons being a huge unreadable mess doesn't help.
>invasion options being shit you can't really effectively attack an entrenched planet in any way short of destroying it. and meanwhile the resources given by a whole planet is several thousands of metal per second so either way it's a no-win scenario. the orbital titan in titans makes it somewhat better but in vanilla you usually get deadlocked flinging nukes and spamming antinukes. if an AI controls a planet expect lag because it can't figure out to stop building units it can't attack with.
>lack of smaller impacts in the early versions you could use smaller sized planets to destroy only a part of a bigger planet. grazing impacts between two planets in orbit could also eat only chunks. they ran into some bugs with that and cut it completely. in the same update they added infinitely respawning 1-halley asteroid belts which can now completely destroy any planet. going for anything else is a waste of time. by far the cheapest planet killer and not balanced at all.
the whole design of the game was supposed to be shrinking the play area with impacts eating chunks out of planets but it doesn't exist in the final version
James Hall
I don't really care to go on much longer but the whole space gameplay is just fucked.
any orbital unit that isn't nailed down can go interplanetary, even a simple radar satellite that otherwise moves at snails pace can invoke the power of satan and be flung to another planet at high speed. none of the big multi-stage rockets they showed in the kickstarter
digging through the files there's remanants of an interplanetary and "grav well" variants of nuclear missiles. implying a bigger more expensive missile for shooting across the stars. cut completely. the "nuclear flyby" by building small nukes on an asteroid and parking it in orbit they talked about isn't possible either.
and overall the balance is just extremely shit. needs a complete rebalance.

>lack of informations Yeah, it also lacks numbers as well. And due to how brutal the game is, you can lose 20 engineers to a single plane because the UI doesn't warn you.
And I hope it's been fixed, but when I played, ground units were absolutely useless because they tried to shoot other units directly, and nine times out of ten, they would shoot the gucking ground.
As we're also the RTS and citybuilding helpline: what's the verdict on Planetary Annihilation: Titans and Tropico 5? Worth $5? If not then is it worth it if you add Styx? bundlestars.com/en/bundle/nemesis-bundle-3

So I was reading the OP a bit and: >you also require three united empire players and for all of them to choose a different quest split on the second chapter When is the split? When you pick your heir? How different do the three get from each other?
Aiden Jenkins
>they are posting /civ4xg/ horatio memes spidercuck BTFO
if you want to be spoiled, the split comes from the quest step either just after the heir choice or two steps after. it gives you the option to keep your empire as is, or transform it into sheredyn (all your imperials are now sheredyn, which give hissho manpower bonuses and have the collection bonus of cravers with a unique 50 collection) or mezari (all your imperial pops are now mezari, which are sophon reskins)
Let me guess, that comes right after the quest that requires you to have 4 laws active at once, huh?
Adam Ramirez
>Endless artbook >has an ending
Asher Davis
How is Block'hood? I kinda like the graphism, but after playing the 8-Bits Army games, I'm worried it may be too shallow to really have fun.
Charles Cruz
i beat you to it user still pretty hype about it though, lots of nice art in EL no the 4 laws one is after the split if you chose the industrial option named imperial for the split choice nothing changes; i usually go imperial anyways, because the extra influence from pops is really good for getting multiple strong laws up
Leo Reyes
Shit I didn't even notice it was something so important. Shouldn't play after midnight, I guess. Do the other factions also get something like that?
Isaiah Nguyen
I liked it when I played it. It's very minimalist, but not exactly the most polished and streamlined experience.
Mason Martinez
nothing nearly as radical, no; the closest is probably the final quest step options for riftborn, which gives all your riftborn pops +4 dust, +4 industry, or +4 science the empire split even changes zelevas' clothing and the imperial emblem; for example, zelevas' coat and breastplate become a beautiful bronze color when you embrace the sheredyn
Chase Mitchell
Fucking finally, if there's one game that needs an artbook it's this one.
