There's no point in grinding to jets and tanks if the competitive multiplayer gameplay that involves them is a bust in itself.

It checks the last vehicle you played for match cheevos. Just make sure to kill with planes and end the match in a plane and it's the same as playing air RB for the cheevo system.

You're in for a disappointment. Meteors are not bad, but they are not that great either. The worst part of the meteor line is that there's so many of them and there's no payoff at the end.

Hawker line is the superior line you want to grind if you want to play british jets.

Also, despite what I said meteor is a good starter jet because it's one of the few jet powered turnfighters. You can use it to ease into jets. Just don't try to turnfight japs and bearcats.
