As someone who's bad at the game and is maining Susan: no. I thought it'd be hard to keep track of his specials but it's not really and you don't need to even worry about them for beginner combos, just tack the specials on the end when you unlock them.

I don't know about how bad he is, but he's fun and I'm glad I picked him up, even when I told myself before I got CF that I probably wasn't gonna play him

you also dont need to worry about microdashing with susanoo and he got a bunch of buffs with the 2.0 update
