Divine Ascension (soundtrack, concept art, artbook, lorebook, a map):
mega.nz/#F!tpNGXaZR!UttmYFiknpMvm28ZcOddJQ

First for artillery plant

I want to marry The Red Prince!

Friendly reminder that roleplaying is not allowed.

Reminder: Bonewidow is superior to artillery plant in all ways

Tarquin isn't in front of the graveyard nor on the lady vengeance

Am I missing something?

I'm getting my ass kicked on tactician difficulty. How do I obtain git guds?

Also, should I play the first Divinity and then come back to the 2nd?

I want to bone that widow if you understand my meaning

Does this spell even exist in the game?

just play fucking classic, it's still plenty hard.

What food gives you +1 strength?

?
Yes?

Yes. It's not that good though.

>tfw the soundtrack is good but it's just not Divinity good outside of like three tracks

>Get to Arx
>Gay people shoved in my face
I'm okay with a character being gay and you learn it after or a sidequest or through longer dialogue but this is disgusting pandering.

>tfw want to play as a female lizard because they have a cool cobra frill and they are tall as fuck
>worried my friend will think I'm a scaly

I have it on my fire goon, its pretty useless.

>One encounter where they just say "my wife"
>"REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"
Never change /v/.

pls respond

>Having a hard time getting into Divinity 1 because I'm just not used to these kind of PC rpgs, similar problem as when I tried to play Baldurs Gate
>I learn that Divinity 1 has an extensive UI overhaul when it detects you have a controller plugged in
>Try it and suddenly, the game feels so much more natural and comfortable to me and I will use it from now on
Feels casul man
Does Divinity 2 have a controller UI as well? That'd be nice.

>literally just has a woman say "don't let them kill my wife!" and that's it
>you can immediately let her wife be executed in front of her
>disgusting pandering
grow some thicker skin lad

I dunno, this game is pretty faceroll on any difficulty. The hardest fight I encountered was the fight right outside of Driftwood by the gallows with Ninyan and the two level 12 archers while I was level 9.

What point in the game are you at? I can see early game being difficult with a terrible party comp and a poor use of resources.

Is it just me or does this game suffer from the same problem Original Sin 1 did where every act is worse than the one before it?

Act 1 is very well polished and designed, likely the result of being iterated on so much during months of user feedback from early access

Act 2 gets a bit messier, drags on more, has you meandering around a lot doing these kind of disconnected and disparate questlines with often unintuitive level ranges for enemies

Acts 3 and 4 are a totally rushed shitfest, ending comes out of nowhere and is generally unsatisfying

Is Sparking Swings at least decent then?

As much as Fane seems to have an interesting backstory, does anyone feel like his character was shoe-horned in at the last moment?

>Enter swamp
>Most of the Undead barely bats an eye at him
>Nor does he make much comments towards him
>But can have an entire conversation with the skelie-dude at the bridge
>But makes no mention of his missing race

Don't spoil it for me, but I'm guessing all his memories were implanted, and that he's not some sort of mythical race of skeletons

No, Driftwood feels better than act 1. It's just Arx being an annoying pixel hunt that's the problem.

act 2 was the high point though

Try looking inside, close to where you fight the necromancer's dog.

The entire skeleton race was tacked on at the last second. The writing wasn't made with skeletons in mind which is why you have stuff like Sibelle holding a blade to your neck like that can do shit

>that he's not some sort of mythical race of skeletons
When did you get this idea?
Undead are just undead, they're not a race.

I'm actually regretting rolling the Red Prince because I can't marry myself

That, and the whole game passive-aggressively tells me I'm supposed to be an asshole

Only on staff Warfare users. Sparking Swings into Whirlwind on like 3-4 guys is quite a lot of magic damage.

Early game. I probably have a terrible party comp like you said, along with a poor use of resources and probably initiation.

>Find Butter in Arx

What an asshole

2 > 4 = 1 > 1
Really though, currently enjoying Arx, gives that "hive of scum and villainy" vibe. Nameless Isle was literally, "Please go to these places and kneel." Fort was fine, but didn't really feel what's so great about it. Driftwood was the best since they actually bothered on a lot of parts on it. Flawed but still the best imo.

According to Skeletor, you are

links for the newest patch?

How do I get into bloodmoon island?

You have to kill the flaming scarecrow

>they are

Rolled the Red Prince like a scalie-fag

Either take the boat and die or jump through the spirit visioned bridge.

>"I know what I'm doing"
>drops me off in deathfog
What a cunt

Which option gives more experience:
-Tell Griff who stole the drudanae and kill the assassin he sends
-Refuse to reveal who is the thief and kill Griff and his sluts
please help[//spoiler]

>tfw i just realized how easy pickpocketing shit loads of money is with a bit of skill in thievery

HOLY FUCK

>kill his sluts
but I want to fuck butter!

Still not seeing him
I even went down the hatch and got the dumb sword hilt

Tell Griff who stole it and kill the assassin then go back and kill Griff and his sluts.

Stealing gold is pretty much mandatory to afford upgrading your gear every level. It was pretty sad when on act 2 I don't have enough gold to afford to buy new skills and gears for my party and every battle was a hard struggle to win, that is until I start stealing gold and it hasn't been a problem since then.
I even ended up with over 300k gold just before the final boss.

I'm sorry user but that was not an option.

yeah im in act 2 right now and only at like 2k gold, wondered how i should buy all those spells/gear. now i just stole myself 10k from the folks in the undertavern.

I chatted up Butter with the chad prince and afterwoods she fought with me when I took on griff and his goons.

Is drudanae dank weed?

The game isnt really balanced around upgrading your gear every level though

Oh no.. you done fucked up. You should steal at Raucuous at a later level since all vendors SCALE with you. Steal stuff at Thievery 7.

All you gotta do is flirt 3x then back off and say u wanna fug her

After experimenting on classic for a number of hours I'm not really willing to state in Act 1, I've decided to try Tactician.

I think I want to go with a finesse character? But I can't decide between like a ranger, a scoundrel or a spear fighter or something.

I also can't decide race or gender. I think I'm hopeless.

...

>They call it a Kraken
>It's a Leviathan
???

.. what stops me from pickpocketing them again?

The fact that you can't. Go on try it.

The game.
You can only pick pocket a target with a specific party member once.
But really you could just pass around an item that gives +thievery and steal with everyone.

The problem is, it's hard to roelplay a character when they pretty much shoehorn a personality for every character.

And then Fane seems like such a last minute character, it's debatable to say that you might be better off without him, despite him otherwise being an interesting character.

In my opinion, roll a non-origin character, and then don't pick up Fane.

Question though, what's the chemistry like if you pick Red Prince and Coldsteel?

Any mods that fixes initiative yet?

You can't pickpocket the same person twice

I usually upgrade every two level, any more than that you're gimping yourself and your damage will be too low and your armor will be wiped in 1 enemy turn.

The pickpocket mechanic
You can only do it once per NPC
Yes it's stupid

>I want a broken feature to be more broken
No.

ok thanks. ill use it to keep myself afloat then.

>no option to flash him
>dialogue doesn't change when you talk to him unclothed

THIS GAME SUUUUUUUUUUUUCKS

>Coldsteel
The edgehog?

Good, maybe the game will offer a challenge then.

>Broken
>Can literally be a Level 7 barter, glue a knife to a stick and sell it for 5000g
>Lucky Charm 7 makes everything shit loot
>Telekinesis 5 can one shot everyone with a bag full of oil barrels
>But no, its pickpocketing that's broken

I was going to do an OC, yeah. Not a fan of playing predesigned characters, although I like everybody as companions.

No clue on RP and Coldsteel. I've never actually interacted with Sebille at all.

>Because other things are broken, this can't possibly be broken
Yeah, better add one to the heap.

I wanna fug Sebille and the blind elf Saheila. Hell, I'd fuck all the females.

Sebilele, or whatever her name is.....

>It doesn't matter anymore

>Hopy you have a blood spell
You don't need one.

What happens if I leave all the motherfuckers for dead on the ship and then go around murdering children?

>You can completely change your parties appearance and build once you get off the island

>You can't change their gender

So?

>no info online on what talents all the options from dorotya give you

man that wiki is lacking

Thinking about jumping into the series. With all the hubbub about Divinity: Original Sin 2, should I just jump into the sequel, or play the original first?

Why don't you change your gender IRL then?

From what I heard, they get resurrected
And then you have no one to blame if you kill that at Fort Joy
From there, you can Lone Wolf it, or hire mercs in a latter act

>Teleport wife away from paladin commander to try to save her
>Combat starts
>Commander disregards everyone including the glass cannon rogue behind him to run across the sqquare and one-shot that jezebel.
This man is on a holy quest and has no time for your shit.

>make a necromancy class
>make it completely incompatible with any caster build
based larian

I thought palading dongs were good guys?

Instead they are THOUGHT BEGONING hos to death, S M H.

>Most broken shit with Summoner
>Synergizes well with Hydro
>Goes with Aero by proxy

Any mods that help to reduce the insane level scaling?

I feel like I'm starting to have trouble keeping up with enemies with my current party build in act 2. Right now I'm around level 12 and my party looks line

Fane: 2h Warfare/necro
Red Prince: 2h Warfare/poly
Ifan: Archer huntsman
Lohse: Summoner and hydro (mostly for support)

Any suggestions on respec options I should look into?

so how do i open this tomb that keeps petrifying me?

Originally is only loosely connected, it's not a direct sequel. A few characters reoccur but it's not like you'll be lost.

Frost armour

Leveling warfare or dual wielding for my rogue to boost damage?

Just die. Then resu.

How/when do you respec?

warfare gives bigger boost

>dual wielding
warfare desu

Warfare is multiplicative
Weapon skills are additive

Also crit multi is bugged and doesnt work, so avoid putting points into Scoundrel.
