I'm not the most aware of Indian history (not OP) but my understanding is that he was more architecturally significant than being a good or great ruler

Where does the Poojeeta the Toilet Witch figure into Indian history?
She is after all one of the most famous manifestations of Lakshmi, the Hindu goddess of laxatives.
Hudson Collins

India has always been a shit-tier 'civilization' and culture; nobody has ever taken it seriously throughout history
lighten up Pajeet
Cameron Turner
The British, French, Portugese and Dutch took India seriously, which is why they wanted so bad to trade with Indian states. That isn't to mention any number of Turkic or other warlords that took India seriously enough to want to invade for its riches.
Blake Torres

India was the heart of culture in Asia since antiquity. Southeast Asian culture is mostly derived at its core, from Hindu kingdoms of the early 1st millennium AD, and Hindu-Buddhist culture was extremely popular in central asia. To westerners maybe India is irrelevant besides the colonial period, but to much of Asia, Indian cultural influence was pretty important through history.
There's no point to talking about non-european history here, in fact any history ends up being looked at through the lens of modern politics and memes. This board is just shit in general.
Thomas Sanders
Give a few more years and you can include Narendra Modi too.

This actually worries me. We have good relations with them right now, but once the Caliphate hits, we won't have a choice but to send an ICBM straight into Londanistan.

In a democracy, the decisions are technically by the will of the people through elected representatives.
Hence, it is not unreasonable to use the plural possessive.
Jaxon Phillips

Britain would unirioncally be a better place if 50% of that shithole were destroyed. Just a breeding ground for more greedy bankers, marxists, and Muslim Jihadists.
