Blizzard really fucked up with Garrosh's representation in Heroes of the Storm. His abilities and role do not fit his character fantasy in any way. His kit should have been for another character.

Yes, he is fun to play. But he should have been a bruiser, like Artanis, but with burst and less focus on defense and with an ability to force 1v1.

meanwhile when I play sonya my QM Ana goes eye of horus, uses it at the beginning of every fight, and seemingly fails to understand how it works while clicking on enemies but wasting all her ammo on the full-hp backliners right in front of her

They lacked follow up damage so I stayed on 80%+ energy basically from the start of the game till the end, so I took 20% armor on high energy and took Physical Shield to prevent Artanis burst and it worked out pretty well.

I never manage to actually stay at energy with Q build, but its so hard to stick to someone with the melee build.

Is Ana one of the most boring supports or what?

1) The only exciting ability she has is Nanoboost but that's entirely dependent on the target to not fuck it up, and unlike Morales' Stim Drone, it's very easy to see it wasted

2) Q missing half the time because your aim sucks or your teammate move too much is pretty annoying. It feels tedious and low impact to try to heal people

3) The worst self-sustain of any healer, at least Morales has talents for survivability and an actual decent self-peel

Every talent that increases or assist energy gain is also a damage talent by default. Shielding = energy = damage.

You have to outsmart people basically. You must channel you inner WC3 orc man blademaster cheese and be an opportunistic piece of shit and not just throw your abilities into people and hope to get kills.

Very carefully.
You jungle and roam between lanes picking off any dumbass squishy that tries to solo rotate, and fill in whenever someone needs to hearth during laning phase.

After the laning phase, your main goal is to flank the fuck out of the backline during teamfights, if you do it right, the enemy might actually be dumb enough to think you're still in a different lane.

it doesnt work on map objective gimmicks that you rightclick to enter, such as dragon knight, garden terror, and triglav protector
