>watch television
>be very fat

These are things poor people do to stay poor, even though they think it will make them richer.

GOTTA THINK RICH TO BE RICH

>not own any eth

leasing is a better investment

>leasing
>investment
nigger you what

>car title loans
>pawn loans
>Get an ARM when they can't afford the non-teaser payments
>Carry a credit card balance

>Buy shitcoins

Leasing is good if the vehicle is for work.

>>Rent tires / rims

Please tell me this isn't real.

Of course it is. If something feasibly can be rented, it is probably being rented.

>Don't have a bank account / use checks cashing joints instead

What? I dont understand. Even if you're poor, having a place to put the money is infinitely easier than using a check cashing joint since those places usually take 15% off your check just to cash it right there.

fuck the bank jew

They don't have access to banks or the banks they do have access to have minimum balances that they can't keep.

>mfw I used to work at a grocery store and people would come in to cash their checks.

They probably only have the buttcoin

Former poor fag here. Like reaaalllly poor poor fag. Damn near homeless.

You wanna know what poor people do?

> take public transportation to work, walk home

> smoke butts you find on the ground

> donate plasma for about $15/session (BUT THE ADVERTISEMENT SAID $50!!)

> stand in line at a church to get a box of free food

> smoke hella resin

> no really poor people can't afford weed, we buy dime bags here and there but you scrape resin for the most part

> you've hit rock bottom pothead status when you wake up at 10:14 am on a Tuesday and the first thought in your head is "I have absolutely nothing to do today" so you sneak into your roommates room and scrape and smoke *his* resin

> then jerk off half high

> this is the best part of today, it all goes downhill

> try not to think about killing yourself

> watch daytime tv

> watch late night tv

> go on random walks with no purpose

> brush their teeth with water

> apologize to people just because you walked past them

> supress screams

former poorfag here, two reasons

bouncing checks, which poor people often do, puts them into check system. basically means that person can't open a checking account at any bank in the US until the check and fees are paid back

court judgments, again which poor people often have against them, can be used to wipe out any open account with a cash balance in it to pay the debt

they're using the grocery store because they may charge 3% to cash a check vs 15% at a check cashing place.

i feel you

The only legitimate case where leasing is acceptable is if you need a car for longer than would be feasible from the average weekly-basis car rental place but don't need to buy. Such as a really long business trip in an area you're flying to.

Outside of that the only reason why 99% of leases happen is because losers want to appear rich and "be driving something new every time they see someone"

> rent tires
i've never even heard of that. is this an american thing?

>Former poor fag here

poor and stupid. The smart niggers stock up on EBT, welfare, section 8, the food bank even gives away free fucking food every so often.

I know these goddamn welfare niggers, they live like kings. You literally have to be extremely stupid, or drugged out to actually be that broke.

Post on shitty meme-ridden boards pretending to be rich

You are so full of shit.

After I climbed out of the gutter I got a state job and irony of ironies wound up working for Adult & Family Services (food stamp and welfare office)

First of all there is no such universally quantifiable thing as "welfare". There used to be but "welfare" was eradicated in the late 90's. Welfare used to mean, give jobless people money. Done.

Today there is "TANF". Temporary Assistance for Needy Families. To get free cash (formerly "welfare") you have to:
- have kids who live with you
- earn less than $1000/month
- look for work or go to education or training for a better situation

No matter how shitty your situation is, you get thrown off at 60 months.

Mandatory 2 year waiting period for new TANF case once you get off TANF. Even if the new job or whatever only lasted a few months. Whether your first TANF case was 6 weeks or 5 years, once you're off, your second case doesn't start until 2 years later

If your kids grow up or move out or get fostered out you will lose TANF (it's only for "families")

These are federal laws that have withstood many lawsuits from many states

I used to smoke resin when i was a teenager and ran low on cash, but i never understood why anybody would smoke discarded cig butt. One of my friends used to do that and it was disgusting. Its not like weed and cigs are as crippling addicting like alcohol or heroin and ill never understand how somebody can lack the will power to give those things up even temporarily to allow more room to better their situation.

>delusional ideas of reaching insane success
>buying Jordans
>buying early 2000, late 90's Honda/Acura cars and JDM parts

>have a car
>go to restaurants
>drink
>eat meat
>pay for cable
>have pets

U can rent tires and rims??? Horey shet. I may do this ro test wich ones to buy. Kek.

NB4 poor fag.

I know 100% tgis is a waate of money and have investments. I also have a budget that allows a little fucking off. I have 400 bucks in this section of my budget. Although i would like to grow it YOLO man. I am into hotrods and my big block needs tires

Unwittingly spending small amounts of money here and there over a long period of time on things that only bring momentary joy. I know one girl who's easily spent about a grand at Starbucks this year from buying lattes every day.

...

I though leasing is good if you stay in your zone, and lease a car a you could of bought for a reduce payment. instead of 72 months for a car you only pay for 3 years and get a new car and never have to deal with any issue since it always in warranty

Yeah, this is my problem as well. You don't think about that $5 meal each day until you've spent $35 in a week that could have been saved had you just eaten at home or packed lunch. Just now getting into proper money management and this is where I'm starting.

>Shop for groceries at 7/11
>Go to Carl's Jr drive-thru for breakfast every morning
>Get pregnant without planning for it
>Save $0 of disposable income
>Go to casino (or gambling in general)
>Cash checks
>Get credit card debt

only poor people know what poor people do

fucking plebeian posers

>lease cars

Business owner here

The money factor on my lease is equivalent to 1 or 2% interest.

Leases work better from a accounting/tax standpoint.

Subprime autoloan bubble is about to pop, used car values will tank. I'm locked in for a predetermined residual.

Not to mention I drive a Range Rover.

Anything else you couod expound upon for the subprime auto-loan bubble?

I lease cars because I like having a new car every few years, fight me

This. Although this does not include disability, the often touted autism bux people on Veeky Forums get constantly. A part of poverty is tied to those with mental and physical handicaps that make them almost worthless for anything but the lowest levels of menial labor.

Read this and you increase your chances of not ending up poor

user beat me to it

>Rent tires / rims
lmao this exists?

not only is it real, its true as hell

ive had poorfags stash their extra tires at my place like nigga why do u even have that shit

poor and rims is like nigs and fried chicken

wolfstreet.com/2017/03/26/automakers-record-incentives-to-slow-decline-in-sales/

Need kids for most of those benefits. Granted most poorfags do, but likely not this user.

>troll on this shitty board

>> apologize to people just because you walked past them

This. Incredibly hard habit to break. I think part of it is racial conditioning.

>student loans for liberal arts degrees.

First of all, fuck you. Second, this is somewhat true

The bubble won't pop unless people can't make their payments. Unless the loans are structured as interest only for several years or the payments increase, anything short of a recession won't burst the bubble. If there is a recession, most everything suffer, including the auto sales whether they are financed or not.

What will happen is a slowdown in auto sales since alot of cars are financed and financed at abnormally long terms (7 years vs the typical 3-5). The banks backing the loans may suffer a bit as well.

Ford and the smart companies will adjust because they see the slowdown coming. The retarded companies won't. Extreme downturns occur when most people don't see a massive change occurring. If Ford's CEO is coming out and publicly acknowledging a future downturn, they'll be fine.

It's a good idea. Don't listen to biz. They're mostly cringe teens and neets

>$35/wk could have been saved had you just eaten at home or packed lunch.
this is what poor people do

This is the truest of what poor people do.

that's dirt poor. "poor" americans can always be found enjoying their meals, three times a day, at any mcdonalds restaurant.

Eating at home isn't free. For me it's typically more expensive than eating out. A nice curry or roast costs about $15-$20 and is about 3-4 serves, all but 1 served cold and dried out from fridge.

Taco Bell tripple crunch wrap box is $5 served warm and gooey.

Jimmy John's is about $8...

So at worst, eating out might be $1-$2 more expensive than eating in.

At best it saves $3

>Lease cars
Never buy a depreciating asset, OP
>rent rims
Is that a real thing?

Same things Rich people will do if poor people don exist

Op here.

I have a few more things to add.

>watching teevee
>paying for cable, satellite, etc
>ordering out every night
>not exercise - America has the FATTEST poor people in the world.

Delete this

You're doing it wrong.

Doesn't this mean you'll be paying for a car forever? Car maintenance isn't expensive.

>people I work with have been leasing their car for 12 years

>people I work with have been leasing their car for 12 years
How?

>Rent tires / rims

You can rent rims? I had no idea people were THAT pathetic.

Big one

>Not read.

Why poor people don't use banks:
>Bank is not convenient (can't walk there)
>Bank has monthly account maintenance fees, and/or
>Bank requires minimum balance
>overdraft fees
>returned check fees
>ATM withdrawal fees
>balance transfer fees

Seriously, do you even have a checking account? All of that shit is bogus jew bullshit that banks cash in huge on. Fee income on deposit accounts is seriously like 60% of the average commercial bank's revenue. It's insane.

Not from the US. Here in Brazil people rent tires and rims to pass the annual inspection. Once you renew the documentation you can go back to your bald tires to cause accidents happily ever after.

brown rice and beans nigga, brown rice and beans

This is the kind of thing that needs to be explained to /pol/tards. They think black people are just siphoning off the government living in luxury

been there bruv

>that feel

For most people leasing is not a good choice. It becomes better than owning when you start looking at cars above the 50k purchase price with large depreciation values.

Like owning a lambo typically is not that great of a choice when you can lease it for a few years, put alot of wear and tear on it for much less and give it back without losing half its value instead just paying depreciation of about 1/4th.

But yes owning a civic and driving it until its dead is a much better investment than leasing it unless there are spectacular lease deals every 2-3 years and recurring bonus for getting another.

Like I just leased a Kia optima for 2 years @ 150 a month and like a grand down. EZ decision. Get to rent a car for 6$ a day. and dont have to take care of it for shit really.

forgot to add im 1099 so I get to write it all off.

I just moved a 10k balance over to 2 new credit cards that have 0 interest for 2 years. I could pay them off - but why?

Niggers in the US like to have flashy $2000 rims on their $500 car.

>do drugs
Ive met about a dozen millionaires in my life. Every one of them has done coke, or some type of drug.

Im a 27 year old who still uses his Chase College Checking Account that I got when I was 18 as my main bank account (dropped out of college one semester later lol). No fees and no minimum balances. Everytime I meet with an accountant they look very confused on why I have Chase College Checking Account, but I keep so much money in there that I think they just let it go. Im not opening up a Savings Account until interest rates go up.

I don't know which state you're in but even white people I know are milking the system hard. They pretend they're unable to work and get unemployment on and off while living with their family who usually has kids and has been on the system for years.

poor people name tags... i mean lottery tickets

not buy MiloCoin

You literally have no idea how many scams these fucking people pull off. It's actually kind of brilliant.

I know this one family that gets double benefits because one of their kids is classified as an autistic... adult who's 30 years old. They get approximately $2k a month just from that. They double dip because they get "caretaker" money and SS benefits. They also rent a room and make another $600 a month. To top it all off they get EBT, unemployment benefits because the wife works on and off jobs.

I know of another guy who is on """"disability"""" from the army and gets a big fat pension, I believe it's 80% of his pay because he fucking faked an injury and got an honorable discharge for threatening to kill himself and some other issues that are total bullshit. I literally know 4 people with similar stories ranging from age 20 to 50.

Another man I know got cancer and eventually recovered. 6 years later he's still listed as "disabled" because he was able to convince the state he's always sick and needs disability and medical assistance, which he admits is bullshit. He rents out a place, and, thanks to rent control, ends up paying $0 in rent because he rents out the other two rooms to pay for his rent.

To top this all off, all of these people openly brag about it. They won't brag about it to you because you're a useful idiot bureaucrat, but the rest of us actually know what's going on and the big fat drain these leeches are on our system.

Any job with a 'name tag' is poor by proxy.

A cop wears a name tag.

Does a judge? Does a lawyer?

No.

I support you. These fags go rock bottom on home food with muh rice and beans to make eating out at your shitty restaurants look like a travesty.

Fucking poor people eat rice and beans, and it shows in the responses.

Also as you pointed out, eating at home isn't free. Accounting for food prep and and potential wastage, you're correct, it's the difference of a dollar or two if you eat at those shit tier "restaurants" you mentioned

i hate (You)

>single mom
>gets benefits
>lives with her bf
>doesn't tell TANF office
>work for cash
>"looking for work" is extremely easy to fake
>benefits for 5 years

Some states provide even more generous benefits. You need to learn more, faggot.

>cash checks

what?

Cops are more of a middle-class job though and there's good chances for career progression and side money through it.

>Rent tires
People actually do this? Wut.

>get on welfare
>drink beer all day
>scam companies that can only fuck up your credit

b-b-b-but i love my honda :|

Go to a credit union.

Better yet don't have the financial skills of a fucking retard. I've never paid a fee from my account in my life.

>Diesel mechanics

>labor

Cars break down, even when thy are new ina year or 2 random sht happens tht can end up costing 2k^

Go swallow minority cock on Plebbit mr lefty.

>not buying a used, well researched, 3 to 4 year old reliable vehicle with depreciation fully factored in
>not using fully synthetic motor oil
>not having a superior jap engine
>not changing tranny fluid and filter, replacing it with fully synthetic
>not replacing the only thing that really takes out motors these days (timing chain) for $300 at 100K miles
>not dipping your bubblegum into grape transmission flud to make more transmissions

christ, see what you've done, cryptoshills? you've chased off anyone with a brain. now this board actually WANTS to be poor and retarded instead of just roleplaying it

does smokin a lil ganja once in a while count as doin drugs?

both must often wear id badges

Anecdote. Most people don't do this or the system would get wind of it.

> apologize to people just because you walked past them
why?i consider myself a poorfag and dont get this.is it because your waters been turned off and you stink or something?

>use checks cashing joints instead
