although sha lin has good tank busting potential if a tank gets in his face espicially someone like ash he cant survive that. ash can shoot him out of stealth easily.

Paladins's ttk is a little low now but a ttk that's too high is retarded.

Borderlands feels shit in the later game because everything is a bullet sponge and nothing fucking dies.

Closed beta was shit and if you think Paladins would get anywhere near the amount of success that it has had if it was released like that for open beta, you're delusional.

eh. I agree, but only to an extent. TTK is a very fragile thing. Too high & the game becomes boring due to the slow pace. Too low & the game feels trivial & casual.
I definitely think they need to scale TTK up a bit, since some of the champions have ridiculous burst dps potential, but the important thing is making sure it isn't too high OR too low. Really, his main complaint seems to be that skill has less importance now, but raising the TTK by alot isn't a good way of solving that issue.

Time to kill was way higher in early closed beta, and there was no real dedicated healers, pip and grohk were all about AOE potential/Ult and Grohk was the only psuedo hitscan in the game and he really great AOE damage as chain lighting was an alternate fire rather than just a projectile

That's true, you need to find the TTK that's just right where engagements don't drag on or end in the blink of an eye. But the current balancing trend Hirez is following worries me, they seem to enjoy going overboard with boosting a champ's damage/damage potential.

I feel the damage needs to be scaled back a tad and more emphasis placed on other portions of each champions kits in order to reward high skilled play rather than make it whoever deals more damage faster.
