Summary:
Saga title is a spiritual successor to Rome 2
Campaign pack coming up for a past history title, probably Rome 2.
Next big history game is a setting they've never done before. Will feature "important character relations that occur between the major personalities in the game."

Workshop for Warhammer 2 hasn't been enabled yet but will be. Manually installing mods still works.

Naval combat will always be shit. Even when we had actual naval combat it was autoresolve shit since it was so bad. Except you invested resources into boat units aswell

Holocausting beatmen can be a good way to blood a green army. They have thousands of shit tier units I would send my fire wizard and dragons into them and they couldn't do shit.

I would be okay with a smallish battle map that was an island, decent compromise without adding tons of work and additional upkeep management for autorevolve boats since boat combat is ass.

alright so I just finished making a mod which makes the following factions playable in custom battles.

Turn 120ish its not that bad. Loremasters were still alive forever, eventually got confed'd since me and Vamp Coast were murdering them

sea guard spam is just unstoppable, a shame that most cavalry seems extremely useless though, top tier is too expensive with like 600 in upkeep, and low tier cavalry loses in a fight to delf archers

I always thought that was what I was doing when I hired mercenaries to help take a city, let them soak up all the casualties, then immediately disbanded them so I didn't have to pay upkeep. Always imagined I was giving the survivors city council positions or something.

Currently the games sales are trailing the original by 36% according to reports (and this is from within the same time frame) so there is a slowdown, but I think it's because people are either waiting for the season of steam sales or - more likely - the goddamn Mortal Empires campaign

Menace from below currently bugged. All the rats spawn on the same area and turn into super stabby pikemen. Move your units away from where they spawn in at so they can get declumped and then it's just clanrats.

This, I'd like them to bring back the Attila system, embarked armies are weaker on the sea than dedicated navies but can still pull shit off if needed and help proper fleets.

Doesn't need to be super in-depth either, just have a few ship designs that do different things during a auto resolve so building a fleet is more than just spamming your best ship, etc.

In 300 turns Skaven I've never seen this happen, they always slowly trickle in and swarm out.

Also, I don't know why anybody would be hyped for Queek being moved to Badlands. Think about how much grief a Saurus Warrior gives you early game. Now think about the even heavier armored Dwarf Warrior and be careful not to kill yourself.

I wish they added more incentive to mess up the other faction's rituals because other than a million turns of fighting dark elves, the most fun I had with the High Elves was when I sent expeditions to Lizard central to interfere with them.

maybe I'll do another one where I secure the main province then start heading south and letting High Elf Nato do it's thing. also would be more satisfying then abandoning everything but my ritual sites at the end so half of Ulthuan is razed and drowned in rat feces.

Lizardmen are much much worse than dwarfs, and dwarfs also don't tend to accrue so many allies whereas last defenders get wood elf, dwarf, human, high elf and orc allies as though they are all close friends.

it's much closer than it is with lizardmen, and dwarf warriors actually have very meh stats. They are going to get tarpitted for a long time and can't even chase down skirmishers or warpfire throwers. With the DLC units it'll be a beard massacre.
