The biggest issue is that ETH is inflationary, and BTC is deflationary.

I guess from the biz perspective we all will probably make a lot of short term cash on ETH.

But in the economic long run, this isn't a solution to the world's economic woes in my mind. Happy merchants can still pull their cheap tricks with this.
