Cool. Site is a bit slow but seems legit.
Will keep that in mind.

no why would it be?
No but I have this

Hey /dsg/ I was thinking of making a Dex/Luck bleed build, here's the skeleton for it I theorycrafted.
Pretty much infusing all the good bleed weapons like the brigands knife with blood and relying on anri's and frayed blade as my conventional damage dealers.

Anyone played around with a build like this? Any changes I should make and is it even worth building for bleed?

How come there's no Straid type?

who /cleansing the bastard's curse/ here

>hornet ring
>implying you're good enough to parry

is this something referenced in dark souls or are you just posting random king's field stuff now

...

Dragonfags, tell me your dragon build of choice.
80dex glasscannon here.

>50 luck, 40 dex

reverse those and use man grub staff. 50 dex is for spell casting speed

also use warden twinblades with rouge, they proc bleed in only a few hits

It's simple
Straid is a nigger

Why would anyone do that? Who the hell keeps rusted coins in their quick bar and with that perfect timing.

Bleed is shit, unless you're doing memes don't bother with it.

Your stats are un-optimized, and you're not using Hollow infusion which fucks you over even more. Simple infusion is shit even when maxed out.

Black Knight, but with a dragonhead instead.

I don't remember this enemy being in Shaded Woods

Whose's curse? What curse?

bleed is pretty much a niche build now
try infusing kirk's shield with bleed

the player character is a manlet

...

See that blueberry you were chasing? He was off-screen in the direction that the sound came from, and last you saw of him he was at low health.

What you heard was him fucking up and popping a coin instead of drinking Estus, because he had coins equipped while farming Silver K***hts.

...

I like pyro/dark pyro so I can pretend I'm Baphomet. Goathead looks pretty good with worker clothes, or Corynx's set.

also, a bit of advice about blood infusion

BLOOD infusion doesn't really increase the buildup much, it just increases bleed damage once it procs.

CARTHUS ROUGE increases buildup, but not bleeding damage.

So if you can proc bleed without rouge, use blood infusion.

If you are not proc'ing bleed constantly, you should use rouge.

Rate my magic mememan's fashion.

Considering parrying in ds3 is the easiest it's ever been in the series it's not farfetched.

That's a pretty interesting line to take, completely forgot about the mangrub staff, thanks for the suggestion user.

That's kind of what I feared, probably gonna give it a shot anyways just to try something new.
It was just a quick skeleton of a build I slapped together as an idea.

So what you're saying I should stick to dex and just slap some carthus onto innate bleed weapons?

How fast does it stack bleed to be worth using as opposed to a resin?

3 > 1 >>>> 2

Can 1 and 3 do this? I don't think so.

Looks like you deal at least 10% less damage than anyone else I could summon.
Thick

...

>How fast does it stack bleed to be worth using as opposed to a resin?

Infusion probabaly builds it slightly faster but your weapon damage takes a huge hit.

r8?

Nice elbows, faggot

metal mask with leather everything else is a little weird

Bloodborne/10

...

>How fast does it stack bleed to be worth using as opposed to a resin?

Most 120 characters have 166 bleed resistance and 1200 HP. On 50 dex and 40 bleed:

sharp bandit w/ rouge:
>263 AR
>53 bleed build up
>15% + 100 damage bleed
>4 hits to cause bleed, 280 damage
>average bleed damage: 70 per hit

blood bandit
>184 AR
>72 bleed build up
>15%+200 damage bleed
>3 hits to cause bleed, 380 damage
>average bleed damge 95 per hit

assuming that 1 AR ~ 1 Damage on average

>Sharp bandit = ~333 per hit on average
>Blood bandit = ~279 per hit on average

whats a good cap for a maybe level ~125sl character in DS3? This is my first ds3 playthrough, and in ds1/2 I remember 40/40 vig/end was good, but im doing a quality build here, so i was thinking 40/40/40/40 vig/end/str/dex

I kinda wanted to add in bleed since I love the flamberge and several other bleed weapons, which probably means ill need more than 9 luck. Is 40/40 vig/end good or is that high unnecessary?

the lore is Miyazaki is a hack

He tilted the cartridge.

dude previous games lmao

Huh, so it really would be barely worth going bleed over just slaping a bit of rogue on a bandit's knife or twinblades and enjoy the regular damage and occasional bleed proc

You look like you can't hyper armor trade with the big boys.

also, rouge's effect is 1.5x on paired weapons, like all buffs.

how much health does a target need for blood bandit to out damage sharp bandit?

how does hyper armor even work anyways? I've done trades with my UGS on some other UGS invader wearing literally cloth, I get constantly staggered/eat hits, other guy just absorbs my hit and keeps going. when I use the weapon art, I get staggered out of it, when the other guy does it, I hit him 2-3 times and he still gets it through

How is blood infusion on paired weapon

>die to him
>"fug, that sucks"
>go other direction after armor spider, rack up about 5000 souls, buy around 20 grass from a merchant I find
>go back to fight flamelurker
>kill him second try

Not as hard as I thought he'd be since I heard so much horror stories about him. He was a pushover.

>people still watch this abortion of a show
Is it an ironic thing?

Any horror stories about him are probably from mages, since he's one of only 2 bosses that actively dodge ranged attacks and he rarely gets out of your face.

Yeah, he doesn't really give you a break like other bosses do

doesn't matter. They deal the same bleed damage but with 100 extra damage on blood infusion, so at any HP level the blood infusion does more damage when proc'd.

What changes is how many hits it takes to proc it and how much damage you do normally with it, enemy HP doesn't matter.

However the lower their HP is, the more damage loss you suffer by using bleed compared to just using a pure physical weapon without bleed, since the penalty per hit is the same but the damage from bleed is lower.

>How is blood infusion on paired weapon
Same as any other weapon, the multiplicative effect is already taken into account with the displayed AR.

What the fug

why is this boss such a meme

>but with 100 extra damage on blood infusion

So it's just a flat increase and not %based? Why ever use it?

Flamelurker was bad for people who were using fire magic and fat rolling, which was quite a large number of DeS players.

He's "hard" compared to most of the other bosses in DeS which are largely gimmicks. Maneaters, Flakelurker, and False King and Old King are basically the only bosses in the game that are at DS1/DS2 level of speed and timing to dodge. Everything else you can pretty much cheese even while fat rolling.

>So it's just a flat increase and not %based? Why ever use it?

Pve. Boss bleed damage is much more effective in pve.

Status effects aren't really meant to be a thing in DS3 pvp. Maybe frostbite at very low levels but that's it.

also all those people who went "oh man dragon infusion is great Im going to use it for everything!" and then they get to flamelurker and their weapon does 30 damage per hit

That's well done because he's one of the harder bosses especially if you go to Stonefang first.

>Boss bleed damage is much more effective in pve

Not if it only adds a flat 100 damage

>false king
had to cheese this guy, what a fucking nightmare he was.

blood infusion procs faster for most weapons and the rouge doesn't run out

it also deals decent build up on weapons that don't have innate bleed for use against bleed resistant bosses

it's not great but it does have an "intended" purpose. It's just like everything else in DS3 though, it's pointless compared to straightsword R1 spam which is going to be better in every situation.

why is she so big?

How’s the enemy variety in Dark Souls 3? Better or worse than Bloodborne?

as good as your posting habits

You can just poison him without him aggroing

LOOK REDDIT, I POSTED IT AGAIN

Reminder that ds2 was a better game than ds3

i shot him a whole fucking lot from just inside the fog, he doesn't aggro unless you take like 2 steps forward

Reminder that only sales newfags call the games DS2 and DS3 instead of DaS2 and DaS3.
