Use HBG, Zinogre doesn't have any elements he's especially weak to unless you can hit the back the whole fight, which you're not doing with a LBG unless you use aerial or some dumb shit like this

I actually think in Generations its the #1 speedrun weapon

because HBG are stronger than LBG, LBG are more mobile and more ammo efficient thanks to rapid fire while HBG has raw power. if you can target a monster's weakness with element pierce then you can bring LBG damage up to HBG's level in damage, but for every other situation HBG is just stronger

Is this because HBGs have higher Raw than LBGs? or are there some hidden modifiers? Because it was my understanding that ammo had the same MV regardless of which bowgun you used.

HBG have straight up higher raw than LBG, yeah. Also, rapid fire weakens each individual shot a bit so rapid firing 3 normal 2 is more like shooting 2.1 shots in power or some shit like that, i'd have to look it up

LBG is a lot of work but the payoff is great. Lost Musket is honestly the most fun you can have with LBG, literally spam crags and clust shots while keeping the monster perpetually knocked out and unable to do shit while your team wails on it

iirc you have to break metal raths' heads before they can be flashed but flash bomb detection is definitely buggy sometimes. Even in singleplayer I've seen them work when they were a mile away off to the side and miss when they were right in front of the piece of shit on regular los and daora.
