So I haven't had the time to sit down with it just yet, can anyone tell me how Sparks are in WotC base game?

Improved? Nerfed? Absolutely no change so what's the point of them?

Increased Aim and Armour, can accept weapon mods, don't get tired. That alone makes them pretty useful - they still aren't quite as good as a human soldier, but they're good enough to perform most roles well. They make for a great crutch to see you through the times when your main squads are too tired or injured to be sent off into battle.

Oh yeah, and while they can't make use of the Training Center to bond or learn extra skills, there are mods which change that. Normalise Sparks works pretty well and can make some VERY powerful robots.

Any advice for someone playing the PS4 version of War of the Chosen?

What does the "overly aggressive" negative trait do? It says unit may fire immediately on overwatch. Will it try to fire into thin air with nothing around, or does an enemy need to be in range?

There has to be a valid target, I'm pretty sure. I've had that trait before, overwatched while no-one's around, and never seen it trigger.

>Chosen will directly try to kill them instead of statusing them for info so they are dicks against Chosen
>can't use cover
Sparks can put out a lot of guaranteed damage and shredding, but they are genuinely not that flexible in combat so if you fuck up you WILL be punished for it. That said, fuck me is Rainmaker SO FUCKING GOOD. Basically Sparks are blunt instruments, good enough a lot of the time, but hardly safe to rely on.

All Chosen can summon troopers before they get the skill, the skill changes the units they summon, or in the case of General, just doubles the number

I've finished 2 campaigns so far and I don't remember that at all.

I enjoy making rad guys.

One thing I've learned about sparks the hard way is don't deploy them until you get their second tier armor.

Every time I've seen a spark in tier 1 armor take a single hit from anything at all, it takes off AT LEAST two thirds of their health, if not destroys them outright.

If you want to tell the 12 foot tall sentient war machine armed with the anti-building shotgun a mango is a drupe, not a berry, feel free.

Probably. They were intended to look as human as possible and Advent had to go out of their way to design the helmets around the eye bug.

They have to have a target I'm sure. Overly Aggressive is the worst thing ever when you're in concealment.

They only summon backup when they're alone and only once for whatever reason. If you focused on the Chosen and ignored all other enemies it'd make sense that you wouldn't see it.

Thanks Jake. I really appreciate this spawn. I love how all my units are in the same square really gets my almonds flowing . But it would not be the same if it wasn't for the fact that I'm already in detection range of every pod in the map. I wouldn't be fair otherwise. I really needed this on my perfect run attempt that was going pretty well or else it wouldn't be fun. Thank you Jake. Even though I managed to survive the mission with all my soldiers wounded I really like how I got a supply raid where I was only allowed to take out 3 soldiers 5 days later. I appreciate it Jake. Thank you.

Any way to prevent soldiers from unequipping utility items after they sit out a mission?

You can use mods from anywhere simultaneously.

Does Stop Wasting My Time work with Zip Mode or does it override Zip Mode?

I think they work fine together, they have some overlap, but they actually change other things as well.

I pretty much randomizes their clothes, so I think some mods like unrestricted customization are supposed to prevent this.
