Not that great but depends.
Most 6man instances are fine, raids are more demanding obviously. You can somewhat alleviate problems by pressing crtl+F to hide other players characters.
A CPU with good single core performance is still strongly recommended.

Better than it used to be. Overly populated places like SSP are still slideshows on occasion but they cut raid sizes from 24man to 12man and everyone has reaped the rewards since.
