The cases were fun but it would have been better as a non-canon celebration title of the Danganronpa universe.
They could have fleshed out the post-game more and made the killing game in V3 have characters killed off earlier on in previous titles have a chance to shine as well as introduce new characters like they did now.
V3 has the best cases overall, but the story is its weakest and the characters themselves are complete shit except for Himiko.

I don't think thye need it since the lag should be very much zero. It's meant for something like Vita TV more since then you would have to think about the TV screen lag or something.

Hard to say. I can afford more games than I end up buying, out of the ones I want. At the same time, I buy more games that I can play and finish, let alone plat if I decide I would like to do so. In the end I buy the games on release if I want the LE of said game, even if I don't plan to play them right away, or when I want to reward the publisher/developer for releasing the game physically.
Lately I managed to control the urge to buy new releases I didn't plan to play anytime soon a bit better, tough it does hurt not being able to discuss them. It's easier when I see how much they want to jew me on shipping, but on the other hand, I love waiting for a package. Personally I don't take plots of DR games with any seriousness. I just find fun with the detective work and courtroom drama. The big plot behind those games always felt silly to me. Still going to buy them though since I do have fun with the games.

Interested to see how Chaos;child is since that has mostly had positive reception in most places I've seen.

Kinda. It's like feeding your anime backlog with tons of new shows at once or finishing one show from it while adding five others. The simple fact of having access to all those things whenever you want is a nice feeling on its own.

Not sure about that. I mean, I want a mystery, crime and punishment from it, and of course, healthy dose of despair. If they substitute lewd for one of the reasons I got the game for, it's not good. If they add it on top of the solid base, it's a plus for me.

The only difference is the resolution. Get the Vita version, it looks great on vitas screen.

Both versions are fine. If you have both consoles I'd only suggest the PS3 version over the Vita version if that one was on sale and the Vita version wasn't.
If you haven't bought it yet, then waiting for a digital sale wouldn't be a terrible idea. Last sale PQube sold it at like $5 or maybe even less.
