I am mentally prepared to hate the show. In fact, I have an individual opinion of each different Witcher product:

TLW and SoD will be everything I've ever wanted to see in a Witcher adaptation if they even decide to go for them. Saga would be comfy as well, but I'm afraid they're gonna turn all adult males in the series into major cucks for the sake of GoT continuity.

That one was heartbreaking, true, though the narrative reminded me of the Saskia promotional comic a wee bit too much which I found even more tragic, because Saskia is the only character in the franchise I'd willingly go gay for. I highly suspect 'Something More' is going to be the biggest tear-jerker ever though, at least for me.

I would have actually said the opposite. Take roche first because it's the more natural choice, geralt has zero logical reason to skip out and go with iorveth. Also iorveth's path is overall far more enjoyable than roche's which is pretty serious business except for some magic mushrooms, and going with iorveth first kind of spoils roche's path with how depressing it is.

Just started playing Witcher 3 and was curious, what are some recommended first things I should pump in my Skill Trees? If it matters at all, I'm playing on Death March difficulty.

Also, I'm horrible at Gwent and got my ass kicked by some random Noble in a castle where I first met Yennefer. Guy keeps fucking my shit up.

I never looked at it that way, I only care about the rate at which the story gets delivered. Iorveth into Roche makes it much easier to understand imho, even if I agree Geralt has zero incentive for teaming up with the elf. Proves there's no objectively superior way to approach that choice, just play through both.

Iorveth's path makes far more sense for my Geralt. It offers a more immediate path to finding Triss and Letho, and finding Triss is number one priority for him.

Honestly I believe it's one or two guys at most which are responsible for all posts of this calibre. Not sure why everyone is feeding him so much attention, when you could ignore him instead, and make him realise he'll achieve better results if he alters his approach. What the user is doing is effectively bumping the thread at his own pace, which works out in all of our favours. He's the hero we need, but do not deserve.

I only have around 17 or so stocked, but I'm so tempted to open them every time I log into the game that I literally need to bite my own thumb to contain it. It wouldn't be that much of a hassle if I end up giving into it though, as I only have around 430 cards and all silvers/golds I need for my deck.

honestly every comic looks like shit to me. I haven't seen a comic that was appealing in years and years. every now and then I go to one of those nerd stores and flip through the comics and just wonder who the fuck reads this trash.

It's an extremely lazy way to handle such a promising character, but I do have a soft spot for her as she's literally the best thing that happens to you during Iorveth's path.

Catriona is supposed to be equivalent to the plague caused by Y pestis, a bacterial agent, or better known as Bubonic plague. Smallpox has viral aetiology. Very different diseases altogether, but both were lethal for the respective periods when they flourished.

In terms of skill trees, the first thing I would invest in is combat skill, later in the game buy a potion of clearance from a girl named kiera and get an alchemy / sing + basic combat buid
Also, invest in the delusion ability in signs, it comes in useful.

Both Thronebreaker and new leaders have been promised for this year. I can't speak for next year, but Gwent is covered at least for 2017. We are living the saddest waiting period of its existence, hopefully.
