After leveling up more it comes from sinestral manor too and presumably all leveling dungeons.

So nothing. You get 1 guaranteed box per run, + a guaranteed box for hitting a certain level, so as long as you don't outlevel them before cashing them in, it's super easy catalysts. Not necessarily faster, but easy.
