DLC mobs just do NOT take magic damage in DS2 and since hes an npc phantom its even worse.

I mean the Forlorn isn't a DLC mob in and of itself, and I've managed to clear the DLCs with relative ease on a faith lightning build. I'm not bothering to kill anything right now, and I just want my goddamn dark greatsword but this is a fucking chore. I'd ask for help but my connection sucks and I'm a yuropoor

Only problem here is that you can't use your OG save files, meaning you can't just go do the DLC. You have to slog through the god-awful main game all over again. This was a major deal breaker and stopped me from doing the DLCs for the longest time. I bought SOTFS thinking "okay, I'll give this game another chance" and then was immediately put off once again. Finally got around to it about a year later

DLCs are okay. Main game is still abhorrent.

I've never invaded on a saturday night before, there are so many dried finger co-op runs going on. Cameraderie between invaders is amazing.

I haven't had a lone host and I've been invading for four hours now.

I've seen literally five different dried finger runs going on, I've met at least five other invaders, and countless other parties of people playing through the game. Not a single true ganksquad, either. I don't know if this just happened to be a perfect night, but everyone I've invaded has actually been playing the fucking game, it's amazing. Even the blues have been pretty good. I'm no super elite invader, I've died about as much as I've won, but I've done pretty well and I've had a lot of fun.

Gotta sleep now though, so I'm going to bow out on a high note with that last invasion. You keep on being bitter and not enjoying the great invasion environment tonight.

But I beat DS1 and 2 by spamming R1 as well, in the first game it was with either a halberd or black knight sword and in the second game it was with the mace you get at the beginning.

Guys, no joke, the Demon's Soul emulator is MUCHHHHH better than I expected

Here's me playing Demon's Soul with 30fps on a non overclocked Ryzen 1600, the game's a bit jittery at time, and the audio is a little fucked, but I haven't experimented with the settings yet and this is easily playable

If you have a mediocre processor or better, then there's literally no reason not to get Demon's Soul right now and because a true soulsborne fan, time to have fun b o i s

I don't get parried too often when I'm invading with them, but I don't generally L1 against somebody wearing a caestus or who looks like they want to run up to me and parry.

Crows are very familiar animals. They communicate in much the same ways that people do. If you have a family of crows in your area, try feeding them regularly for a few months and they will generally spread the word to every other crow within a ten block radius of your home until you have a murder of them sitting on your roof at all times.

It's even possible to befriend them if you're slow and use a light touch about it. Make sure they don't see you as a predator, move slowly at first, and give them food on a regular basis.

The white markings of a crow are generally unique to that crow, though not all crows have them. All the ones in my area do, so you can identify them all separately. It's kinda cool.

That's really cool. Makes me want to be that one weird guy in the neighbourhood with a house full of crows where kids are too scared to ring if their football ends up in my yard.

What should you feed them?

too be fair, it's a little depressing and lonely, but online interactions are a very small part of Soulsborne, especially if you're like me and prefer doing PvE solo

the alternative would be playing on the PS3, but I imagine that's deader than dead by this point
