So, 7* are coming, only 5* bases can get it, you need a dupe of that 5* base to get it in the first place, they come with STMRs which require a further 4 duplicates of that 5* base unit and literally no other way to get it. The future meta of FFBE is the requirement of 6 clones of any Rainbow, and in the cases of weapon STMRs, 12 clones. What joy.

To be fair, you don't really dual wield two of the same weapon. BiS was never mandatory. The real problem is 7 Stars being limited to Base 5's and requiring duplicates. The current game is as good as it is because so many characters can become 6 Stars and fill a niche.

Has anyone else's joy with pulling diminished drastically after today's announcements? I was all over getting a GL Sakura / Jake TMR but now I barely can give a shit. I probably still want them but knowing it's all going to shit in 8 months is something

There's no "blur", at least no aritificial one by in game filters, they're smears done on the actual sprite by manually moving the pixels

I have never understood how you rkucks can defend raising your arms, putting your hands to your waist, and kneeling being the very limit of FFRK's animation.

Putting the shortcomings of the FF game sprites aside for a moment: the FE stuff was pretty iconic as far as great sprite animation goes, even if they weren't that detailed. Then they do this. The FF stuff isn't impressive, but at least it's not a downgrade. The actual artwork in the game is mostly nice, though. Which makes it even more of a shame that they went with those sprites.

6*s probably. The community is veeery invested in the idea of creating custom gimmick builds for units. Having new units totally eclipse the old will make people very unhappy.

It's already fucked, you cant roll for banner heroes anymore because they keep every hero in the banner. You can roll 4 5-star heroes before you see the actual 5-star the banner is for.
