I dont understand that shithole at all. All the builds they make are vp cause "it's OP", then cry everyone uses it and begs GGG for nerf.
They also make guides 3 times a day that you should shape your spider forest and never run anything else ever again. Then cry that everybody is running spider forest and begs GGG for nerf.

All the while everyone is playing sc and cries that the game is too hard.

They use it because it's strong. They want a variety of strong and builds, but refuse to play anything even remotely sub-optimal because they're shit at the game. The entire game is balanced around the fact that a build can have Vaal Pact, so they'll use it in almost all their builds unless it's Summoner or Totems or Traps.

The long answer is no, but for min/maxing currency and exp gain this is the most efficient way to play Path of Exile currently.

Don't worry, once slayer's regen will become the most efficient way to sustain, they reduce Brutal Fervor to 3%, Hematophagy to 2%, the hema node to 1% and Vitality Void to 2% and "fix" arakaali. Also reduce the base leech cap to 5%, just to be double sure no one would play him afterwards.

I abandoned some and did others. Got a unique from an abandoned master's mission. Read on the forums so it might be a less chance for the uniques to spawn.

Is there some sort of table with a rough approx of health and dps per character level? I have no idea where I should be in regards to health and damage based on my level. Right now I'm at about 1K health, and 1.4K dps at level 33.

there's no real guideline about that matter, there's no real sense of proportion, the main thing you need to focus is that
your defense mechanisms matter more than your ofensive mechanics, and if your defensive device favors your offense the it is even better
the game is won even before you start, you have to win in theory to do it in practice
