After playing many games with Kayn I relaized that that bar which makes you either Rhaast or Gay doesn't matter at all.
It means no matter who and how much you hit, what is important is only the one who you hit in the end just before the bar fills up. So for example if you want Rhaast, you just kill everyone normally (you don't even have to hit melee champs at all) until your bar is almost full. Then just hit a melee once and you're Rhaast.

Not him but this whole thing is kind of unpleasant as someone who actually really likes and occasionally plays Illaoi.
None of them are completely awful but all 3 are pretty underwhelming.
I voted deep space because it seems like it would have the most fun skill effects but no matter which one I get I'll be disappointed that they showed off these other concepts and are just abandoning them because of some random poll and even more so aren't really going all out on Illaoi's first skin ever despite being out for ages.

Kindred's base skin is so good I can barely think of anything that would be better.
