That's nothing compared to 8s hell.

You get one free per character so it's best to make a couple characters before the maint that will give the passes, then you can delete them if you want (unless you paid AC to get the character). You're stuck with that tree unless you use another pass to fix it or you buy another skill tree for that class (500AC but you can use 100SG to reset/move this tree)

New skilltrees are 300 AC.

Legendary skill: Techer > Summoner = Hunter (Sword)
High skill: Force = Ranger = Bouncer
Decent skill: Fighter
Just press the attack button dude skill: Braver

at low level you dont have to worry at all
starting SH or XH you have to know what to do in like 1 or 2 EQs

There isn't really any EQ where you "have to know what you are doing" beforehand. They are all either very straightforward kill what's infront of you quests or kill a big boss that might have one or two mechanics you won't understand immediately but should be fairly obvious on the second time around and aren't something that are going to negatively impact the group if you fail them anyways.
You don't really have to worry about any of that stuff, it's perfectly okay to go in and just do your best without having any info on what you are getting yourself into.
