As usual, if you'd like to write a poem, consider using our shared thread word as your inspiration!
Today I'd like to try something a little bit different though. If you'd like to challenge yourself, go a little outside your comfort zone, or just try something new, try writing me a haiku!
Haikus are some of my favourite types of poetry, and despite looking simple they can be surprisingly complex!
For any that don't know, a haiku is a three line poem with a syllable structure of 5-7-5.

I swear to god, every time I see this face, I can't stop myself from laughing

I like sausages and pancakes and eggs. Not all at once, though. That's too much. Also, toast is good too, with cinnamon and sugar.

Monika is an eco-friendly vegetarian, and I can imagine her as a bit of a health nut as well. She probably likes whole-grain cereal with strawberries. And her morning coffee, of course.
