>was the book in which the Jews went from God's chosen people to the people who murdered God's chosen prophet and the only truly innocent man to ever exist oh and he's also gods kid, made so Christians would stop being mean to them?

U fucking wot m8

>old testament
>kill everyone rape women beat slaves

>new testament
>kill no one have fun rape a child god will still forgive

Sounds like the work of a jew.

Yes.

With Christianity the Jews got their great revenge on every single one of their ancient enemies. Rome, Babylon, Egypt, no one was safe.

No disrespect to the Jews, that is some achievement.

No it was written by Romans with the intention of coopting Christianity so they won't resist the Empire and a new religion that could unify it by incorporating ideas from various pagan cults.

This. Also, Jews are quite literally dying out because of Christianity. Remember that their lineage is passed through women and today there's two things happening:

1. Their women are marrying off Christians, therefore ending the Jewish lineage.
2. Jews are converting to Christianity in fast rates. It's so bad, that some groups of Christians said they will stop trying to evangelize the Jews (since they're disappearing so fast).

*creating a new religion

Only Jews thought Jews were "God's chosen people." After the spread of Christianity, the whole western world did.

>Jews are quite literally dying out because of Christianity
Quite the contrary Jews are returning to Orthodox life in shocking numbers.

The statistics are there and they back up my points.

Statistic show Judaism has remained stagnant with less than 1% growth over the past 10 years or so. Not dropping.

Actually the statistics say Judaism is on the rise. Albeit slowly, but on the count it's an ethnoreligion you can expect no less. So no, Judaism isn't dying out.

That's a pretty recent retardation. Why would one religion say that another is the "chosen one"? Ergo, for most of history, they were given the shit they deserved. Right up til Cromwell broke the system.

Fuck off sandnigger

The new testament is written by some of the earliest disciples and apostles of Christianity, who paraphrased the Gospel, which contained parables which were paraphrases of universal phenomenon.

Your nose is showing moshe

...

the old testament was jewisch and the christian stole it as it became popular

suddenly there were two testaments the old and the new one

/thread

Half of the NT is forged. Peter was an illiterate fisherman for example.

What?

Jesus was a Jew, his disciples were Jews. Paul was a Jew. They spread the Gospel to other Jews in occupied Israel.

The Israelite's are in a tough situation. They've always had issues following God. They serve as an example of how hard it is to find God and remain with God. Everything they went through is what any follower of God may end up going through. The experience in the wilderness, Christians will experience this, the evil that was hidden in the Pharisees, Christians will be like this...Jesus even said he'll turn believers in Him away.

But yeah, Israel is in a tough spot. I wouldn't doubt if a lot of them are scared to look at Christ, as they might see it as Idolatry. Even though he matches the prophecy of the Messiah. The Messiah didn't come with flashing lights, but meek as a lamb.

There are some hardcore Jews that are well aware of all the times they were exiled and how they had to endure, whether that was in Babylon or during Roman occupation. They know they must remain faithful to God and even side with Palestine. It's...It's crazy how complicated it is for them.

Israel is in a very tough spot though. Their fear and doubt has '''''some'''''' of them doing things they probably shouldn't be doing, but that's what evil does. It infiltrates like any virus, only evil manifests in human behavior among others.

>Why would one religion say that another is the "chosen one"?

Because it's the basis for both of them you retard.

>Even though he matches the prophecy of the Messiah
Jesus didn't fulfil any Messianic prophecies. Xtians are waiting on the second coming for that.

Wasn't it prophesied that he would come from Bethlehem? Or that he was going to suffer?

This. Up until maybe the mid-20th century, Christians have hated Jews.

He was most likely from Nazareth. The two Gospels that claim he was born in Bethlehem not only contradict eachother, but are also historically impossible.

No, you brainwashed halfwit. Some of the laws are derived from the Torah, but Christianity stands on it's own.
Your claim would be akin to Sikhs calling Hindus or Muslims the "Chosen People of God"

"Jews are le greatest ally" is a 19th century American meme.

Nazareth wasn't inhabited in the 1st century. only thing at the site that dates to the 1st century is a well
