So I was reading the MC kun roleplay last thread and MC kun story by user and it kind of made me chuckle. For whatever reason he really hit the nail on the head with him being an edgy but most of all depressed teenager. Especially so when he attacked the player for what's happened. He blames (You) for even starting the game and causing Monika to do what she did which is essentially him saying he wishes he was never born. Had we not played he would not have become conscious. He's a broken soul of a teenager who's been forcefully thrust head first into a crueler world than the one we live in by a bitter manlet. He feels powerless to change anything but hides that fear behind a facade of truth and retribution. He is the teenager almost all of us were when shit hit the fan. He wishes to run away and blame everyone even those hurt also and those trying to help because it's easier than struggling to pick everyone up including himself to fight for the dawn.

I only got interested in the game because it was memed so hard, I knew it couldn't be just another VN with cute girls, and I would probably never get through it without getting bored first, I don't play games for the story.

I didn't really care much about the characters dying, what hit me more is the fact that gamefiles can be deleted and create different outcomes, I never even considered that possibility.

I have to admit, I was a little confused reading through it the first time. I had to re-read a bit because some of the imagery went over my head. I think it was a good read, though, and I like the tension of it.
