Tlemcen, I moved my capitol to the americas.
Moving to america as berber is especially expensive though I learned because of the core cost traditions and the overlapping cores in that area, recoring sucked.

Moved it to trinidad which is technically north america, so I could the -80% cost to culture conversion in south america.
Later on I moved my capitol to south america and culture converted at a discount in north america as well.

Corruption is a bad mechanic overall.
It's not even a problem when you have a half decent economy and you never have to debase currency again. It was supposed to be a way to balance out big blobs, which state cores already do. But the bigger you get the less you're affected by corruption, while small countries get absolutely ass ravaged by it if they debase too much.

I think the only thing corruption really did for me was to stop me from staying at 3-7 dip and just developing with bird mana until the 18th century when I needed three deckers.

It seems to sorta server a purpose for pushing down newbs. See every now and then players who mess up and waste a lot of mana because they can't handle their corruption.

The only thing it accomplishes is it fixes dip tech cheesing because they can't come up with a way to make dip tech relevant beyond colonization and boats.

the one way I've found is by marrying one of the khagan's children so the children will be of your dynasty, having the khagan die, having your spouse die, and then pressing the weak claim of your children. this creates a new khanate of your dynasty with 0 population and 0 manpower

you can't build unit presets in Victoria II. each army has to be constructed manually and then sent to its desired location manually. this problem is exacerbated by the fact that rebellions typically sap one or two units from your armies which have to be manually refilled. EU4 has mechanisms to solve all these problems which will hopefully be implemented in Victoria III

Honestly, you can list the "improvements" from EU3 to EU4 on one hand. You can list them from HoI3 to HoI4 on a palm. No easier army building is going to make up for removed/""""""streamlined"""""" factories, literacy, pop types, unemployment, issues, elections, cultures, etcetera. I know for a fact they'l shit up V3 because their current business model is "as little effort for as much profit".

See Jade Dragon, a single new UI, maybe a dozen events. Modders could do that in a single day, yet that made them tens of thousands and counting.

Improvements needed for Vicky 3:

-A much improved military model as well as significant automation + complexity.
-A much improved population growth + agriculture model, theres a reason people settled where they settled.
-A model of population IQ determined by genetics and environment and possibly government/religious policies
-An improved trade system that allows blockades/taxation of trade routes as well as takes shipping costs into account, theres a reason cities are on large rivers connected to the oceans.
-Make rebellions SMARTER/more powerful and not so suicidal
-An actual supply & demand market, though most basic goods should remain domestically produced
