Even with quick shot in wild, hunter still struggles with controlling aggro. I mean, just look at giants hunter. They run doomsayer, explosive trap, quickshot, eaglehorn bow yet they still get murdered by aggro. Shitting out a bunch of tauntless big minions on turn 5 doesn't help them at all, I doubt some janky deathrattle 6+ mana cost minions will help that situation

explosive/freezing trap, kill command and maybe deadly shot are the only good cards in that list. The rest of them suck or do nothing in the late game.

Hunter needs GOOD aoe/card draw and healing to be a control class. but giving them these things will make aggro and midrange unstoppable. they're in a catch-22 unless they can come up with cards that work in control but can't be used in aggro/midrange.

I mean it's already a fun deck starting to develop in wild where it has acceptable defensive cards like Quick Shot and Belcher, even something as slow as Giants Hunter is possible with support

I'm fine with something like this being high tier, but that's impossible until they throw Hunter a bone and just print generally good cards on par with what other bad classes in the past have been given

There has been no opportunity for the class to shine since they were gutted long ago, outside of the niche Control Warrior meta and it being the irrelevant 4th or so best deck in Mid Shaman meta.
