I'll start with some improvements you could make to improve this piece:

1. Proofread. Your very first sentence is missing a word, which doesn't set a good first impression on behalf of the piece as a whole!

2. Your details seem kinda contradictory when you're setting the scene. I would hardly describe my day as "nice," after all, if I'm waking up to greet it with a throbbing headache, and with "disorientation," while waking up from a nightmare. You could either remove the word "nice," or write the scene in such a way that you're juxtaposing visual beauty with emotional/mental ugliness.

3. "almost as if you weren’t in a dream." I think the tense is confusing here; as if you HADN'T BEEN in a dream? As if it felt very real and believable? The way this is currently written, you're almost implying that MC is in a dream RIGHT NOW.

4. "really sucks that her dad’s company had something come up last minute and she had to leave without time to even say goodbye." This feels kinda phony and not like something someone would say. Probably because you're "telling, not showing." I'd remove this passage (replacing it with a more graceful way to introduce this knowledge to the reader) or at least heavily alter it.

But you do some good stuff too:

1. Foreshadowing and dramatic tension. You had me immediately questioning the circumstances of Monika's disappearance. Is she really gone, or just hiding from sight? If she's really gone, did she still make some alterations before she left? Does she still have her meta powers?

2. Strong character voices. Although there are places where I think there's too much dialogue or that it feels "clunky," you're very good about giving the girls distinct personalities through their verbal mannerisms.

3. MC-kun's thoughts and rationales feel convincing as well.
